Hi....Helpers needed up untill early July.....could do with help gathering firewood....and pruning trees...and gardening....
Homestay and Christmas Tree farm. Help needed with both. It would help if you can speak a little English. It's general labour. We will be working outside most of the time and I have a dog at my house so not suitable if you are allergic to dogs or pollen. There is a lot of bending down when pruning.
At the home I plan on painting, cleaning and gardening. At The Christmas Trees we will be pruning the trees and cutting back weeds. You would be asked for five hours per day, five days a week in return for room and board. Food will be supplied but you may sometimes have to cook for yourself. While I do not eat meat I will supply it for you.
The area I live in is beside the Glen Of Aherlow, with the world famous Rock Of Cashel and also Cahir Castle twenty minutes drive from here. We are one and three quarter hours from Killarney National Park. It is a q... more inside

I have a room in the house available and could do with some handy people who can help with clearing the tunnels and weeding, maybe use a strimmer. 20 hrs a week for full board. I'll be doing holiday relief in my shops around the country (check the web sites), and plant fairs, so there will be weeks when I am away, but there will be plenty of people around to help anyone who is staying if your time here coincides with one of those weeks.
The mobile home is occupied by Siorcha who is 24 and Luka who is 11, the little house is occupied by Manus who works at Future Forests Garden Centre down the road. They are all lovely people,
The tunnels up the top only operate part time, but Eleanor and Tiarnan will be around. My Son Aengus is the only one at home now, although he's away working during the week in cork unitl the end of July.
Independant, easy going, liberal minded, unjudgemental people is what we are looking for. We are an unconventional lot. If it rains there is mud, bring w... more inside

We are living of grid on a 10 acre piece of land, surrounded by the mountains of Cork and Kerry. There are different kinds of areas on different heights on the Tir na Beo. Woodland areas, bog land bits and various types of little fields and gardens. The Gougane Barra National Park and the Lee Valley with the beautiful chain of lakes forming Lough Allua are close by. This is a very rural area and the nearest village is about 5 km away. The distance to the west coast is about 25 km.

History, Philosophy, Life and Plans:
We are inspired by people who live and work on their own land self-sufficient as much as possible and in harmony with nature, following their desire to get directly in touch with the land, nature and them self. Being more healthy and happy. To us this kind of living is perfect to reveal our potentials. We would like to share and enjoy the land, nature and this beautiful area with other people in a community setting with enough room for individuality and privacy. Eve... more inside
