Various work for long or short term stay.

The campsite has a beautiful location by the Oslo fjord, approximately 30 minutes drive from Oslo. The site is owned by the Norwegian YMCA-YWCA,
is about 13 acres large and has 500 metres shoreline, lots of fruit trees and other vegetation and a soccer field. It was originally a residence for a wealthy businessman from Oslo in 1901 and was founded as a campsite in 1941/42.
We have camps with or without food service, lots of maintenance and gardening, some cats and hens.
The work varies with the seasons and will consist of everything from kitchen work, gardening, painting indoors and outdoors, carpentry, cleaning and other.

We are also looking for a carpenter that can do the job we don't know how to. There are lots of different buildings that need different care.
We would like you to be self-propelled and that you like to be proud of the work that you do.

We are running an eco farm with different activities going on. 70ha with 15ha cultivated, and the rest is forest. The farm is located by a beautiful lake and nature reserve. We have grain fields, grass fields, ecological greenhouse vegetable production, herb garden, outdoor ecological demonstation garden, cows, sheep, chinese quales, hens, rabbits, ducks and bees. We also have two small children 5 and 8 years to take care of and sometimes we need someone to help us out taking care of them while we are organizing and working at the farm. We give you good food and good but simple accomodation.

Our small farming society is receptive to positive development and we would be happy to invite you to join. We have 3 small rooms in outside houses to live. We accommodate up to 6 people at a time at summertime, about 3 people in the winter. We prefer people to stay between 2 and 8 weeks. Small farm 45 min. car journey south of Oslo. 70 Cashmere goats, that are grazing on a big island in the Oslofjord in summertime. We have a farm restaurant for events and parties. Some chickens, ducks and vegetable garden for the household. We Are a family of five that need help with building maintenance, fence building, looking after the animals, gardenwork and all kinds of farmwork. Guests will have the old farmhouse for them selves and eat some meals on there own. We are flexible about working hours and most other things.

Interested in self-sufficiency? Want to help build a community? Love the sea? On an organic farm a few hours north of Oslo, our collective is for anyone keen to learn, share ideas, and work hard. We are building a sailboat and when she is finished (we aim for 2012/2013), we want to sail the world, visiting other eco-villages, collecting knowledge and traveling in the most eco-friendly way possible. Anyone who helps us out will have the chance to join our crew. We also work on the farm, building up the infrastructure to create a stable base for our community. We live with our dog, the farm cat and some (very) free-range chickens. We keep bees and make jam; this year we harvested our first crop of potatoes and planted next seasons raspberries. Eventually we hope to grow all our food. We want to create a place that will continue to flourish, where crops, thoughts, adventures, and of course boats, can grow!

My boyfriend and I have just moved to a farm, centrally located between Oslo and the main airport in Norway: Gardermoen. It only takes 30 min by train to the central station in Oslo (3. km to the station. Bikes on the farm) Despite its central location the farm is really in the countryside, surrounded by hills, wheat fields and forests with deer and moose.

We will take over the farm after my father during this year and transform it to an organic farm. We grow wheat, but will this spring we will grow vegetables, have some hens, ducks, maybe some pigs and a cat.

The house was built in 1914. The ground floor is newly renovated in typical style of 1914. We will accomadate you in your own room with wi-fi, and an adjacent bathroom. We can offer your own kitchen facilities if you prefer, or you can share with us.

As you know, there is always lots of work to be done on a farm. We are looking for practical and strong people interested in carpeting, gardening and perhaps cooking.

Solsetra is a retreat for children and a spiritual education center, located deep in Norway's forests at 440 meters above sea level and around 2 hours drive north of Oslo. This place is around 1000 square meters and built with logs and turf roof. Our main areas are helping out children who need extra care. Also, we have spiritual workshops or gatherings around every other month. We have a vision of co-creating a spiritual center which demonstrates conscious living. In September 2012 I bought an old house With a big garden. I did a lot of repairings in the wintertime. Now I want to create a Nice garden and need some help to get the work done. There is an area With excellent ground which I want to use as a vegetable garden and another area where I want to sow a lot of Wild flowers.
It exists a small gardenhouse/garage as well which can be a very beautiful Place in the future after cleaning, repairing and painting.
The property is Close to the town Horten (2km) and Close to the sea (300m). It is the beautyful Island Løvøya nearby With excellent view around the OsloFjord, Places for swimming and Fishing.

This is a small property on the countryside outside of Steinkjer in the middle of Nowhere, I mean Norway. Next to a big forest, and walking distance to the lake. We have one big house made of concrete, and an old logg house that is disconnected from the electric grid. The big house is under construction, but one floor is done and is used for living on.

There is wireless internet here, but I do want to get to know you before you leave.

We have a small vegetable garden, and the work to be done here is generaly to do with that, or stuff around the house. Maybe some car maintenance at times. In the late summer the work could include berry picking and mushrom picking in the forest.

To stay here you dont have to work hard, and if you are skilled at what you do, you can work less hours. Same if you provide food, or sleep in a tent.

We have bikes, and there are some realy nice routs for biking in the area.

Need help from april and at least through the summer for short or long preiods. Ok with seniors too, as I am one myself.
The village of Fagernes is beutifully situated by a lake not far from the mountainous aerea Jotunheimen. I have two houses here, renting out small flats and living there too myself.In and mostly around my houses I need some help to finish renewing like painting, carpentry(stairs outdoor) and muralwork. And some gardening, woodchopping and fencework.By spring(april/may) my old wooden boat will need maintenance like brushing down and painting before the season.
Long distance buses pass through Fagernes (200 km from Oslo, 300 from Bergen) and I can meet with a car at the bus station.
