We still have place available for 1 person or a couple from May 20th to May 31st (We are already full for the months of June and August, Thank You!)

Bonjour! I am a small environmental research and observation out post perched on an alpenfield at 4000 feet in the Tri-National Mt-Blanc Conservation Zone Trient Valley, in Switzerland.

I trade a good bed, 3 square meals and 2 snacks 7/7, plus a choice of courses/apprenticeships with attestations/certifications (Dry rock wall building, wood sculpting, soil biology, the practical working side of conservation) in exchange of 25h work p/week (5 x 5 hours, 4 x 6 1/2 hours, or otherwise flexible.)
Work involved ranges from get-down- and-dirty conservation work, environmental up keeping and general maintenance to forestry, field & wood work.
Someone with good cooking skills welcome.

Required: Honesty, reliability, and a strong sense of ethic toward beings tiny, big, and small.

Gigi & Christian

nota bene: I am booked out until August 20th, 2013 either with helpers or with paying guests.

No decent profile nor personal message, no picture showing your face clearly, a google translated text, American slang or a name that does not correspond with the name of your helper's profile.
no luck. sorry about that.

I am very much interested in Asia, as well as Australia and New Zealand. Helpers from these regions are given preference.

I am a designer of fashion accessories. My studio and living space is in a factory I have neither animals nor a garden to attend to. If you prefer to be in a larger group of helpers I might not be the right host for you since I live alone.

More mature helpers are definitely welcome.

Some times I might need help with cleaning. There might be some odd jobs here and there that you could help me with. Sewing, dyeing and ironing need an experienced hand. Of course it is also a question of routine, too. Some helpers have actually helped m... more inside

WE WONT DO HELPX IN 2013. OUR ROOM WILL BE AVAILABLE AGAIN IN 2014.

We live in a country house, 2 generations together, 2 cats a young dog with a big garden plus some fruit trees to look after. We are an anglo/swiss couple, working full time.

We could do with the equivalent of approx. 4 hours help a day,6 days a week, somebody independent, who could do some cleaning in the house and work outside. We are homestay therefor we'd like "everyday things" like e.g. emptying the dish washer, tidying up after yourself, keeping your room clean or cooking for yourself/us to be treated as normal and not as "work".
We always have smaller or bigger jobs on the go like painting, ceramic tiling, wood work, making apple juice/cider etc etc.
We normally plan on rather short terms because a lot of the work depends on the weather and the season. If you need to plan a year ahead, please contact other hosts.

We only do short term, max 1 weeks. YOU NEED TO BE ABLE TO WORK SELF SUFFICIENTLY.

Me and Olga work and live here, its a farm community and a children's(with adhs issues) home and school. On our farm we have 1 teenager, Mike at the moment. Olga is half russian and I traveled for along time around the world, we both like the international spirit. We enjoy having people from all over the world in the house, sharing their culture and stories with us and the kids, that way we can learn more and show the kids the variety of the beauty of the people in the world.
Most of the time we have a room available and all u need for a good sleep.
Its an old farm house but really cozy and in the middle of a beautiful scenery: forest, creeks, green hills, garden, goats...nature lovers will love it.
Don't plan to much ahead, we don't do it that way either, short terms request is easier to organizer for us.
There is always plenty of work in and around the house and we are happy to m... more inside
