We live in a small rural village in the lovely hills of the "Odenwald". Our village is located roughly between Heidelberg and Frankfurt, also Mannheim and Darmstadt are easily to reach. There is a very good public transportation to all these cities.

Our family of four(52,53,22,19) lives in a cosy house with a garden. We raise some vegetables.
Mostly we need some help in our garden.
Until August we have helpers, if you would like to come that would be between August and October.
We try to bring more and more permacultural aspects into our garden and are very interested in learning about how we can improve that.
We expect you to help about 3-4 hours a day for 5 days a week, but we are not strict about times, you may set up your own schedule...

On most days I cook, but we are very happy to taste new recipes, if you like to cook.
Mostly I cook vegetarian food, very rarely meat. We are a nonsmoking family, but if you only smoke outside, we have no problem with that.

Come in the short term and enjoy the spring outside!
We (couple) live in a old house in a quiet place and we try to develop our small piece of land. We could need independent helpers who enjoy to work outside, in the garden. Easy and rustic housing conditions. English native-speakers who are interested in the German or French language are especially welcome.

Depending on the weather and on our free time, we would like to achieve following tasks this year:
As soon as the soil is not frozen anymore (April-May) I'm going to prepare our little garden for the summer harvest. That means that I could need help with weeding, turning the soil over and finally sowing.
Another essential activity consists of sawing and splitting the heating firewood.
Furthermore we want to clean a part of ground to turn it into its natural state.
And last but not least our workcamp will consist of building a natural stone wall (stacked without mortar), I'll write more about that in due course.

Liebe Helfer, wieder haben wir einen ereignisreichen Sommer mit vielen, vielen Menschen aus der ganzen Welt erlebt. Aus Frankreich, England, China, Spanien, Taiwan, Polen, Russland, Schottland, USA, Moldawien, Israel, Hong Kong, Italien, ja und auch aus Deutschland seid Ihr gekommen. 25 Menschen fuer mehrere Wochen unterzubringen hat unsere Zimmer-Logistik ganz schoen durcheinander gebracht, aber es ging und es war wirklich toll bunt und nebenbei haben wir auch noch einige Arbeit geschafft. Ein herzlicher Dank an Euch Alle !
Unsere Landwirtschaft geht nun einer ruhigeren Zeit und wir selber anderen Schwerpunkten entgegen. Neben unseren Betrieben beschaeftigt uns jetzt vor allem unsere Dorf-Universitaet, die wir noch mehr ausbauen wollen. We are a family (Heinz: 48, Katharina: 37, Antonia: 15, the twins Mina&Tara: 6, grandma Hella: 59) and we live in the countryside with 20 mini sheeps.

We always need help with house-building, working with wood, clay, stones, working in the garden, making firewood, householding, taking care of the sheeps and looking for the children.

We are reboulding here an old farm and there is always plenty to do.

We have two rooms in an extra-house for travellers.
Travellers share showers, toilets and kitchen with us in the main house.

We love to host people from different cultures and countries to get known to them and stay open minded :-)

You are great! Thank you all for your spontaneous help!

We are still looking for a female helper who is willing to help us with our two kids (a boy, nearly 10 years old, a girl, 7 years old) in the fall, from October on.
Is there someone who wants to help?

You have to cook delicious food for them and play with them in the afternoon, just taking care.

You will not have to work more than 25 hours a week! So you will have a lot of free time! Free time to explore:
- Karlsruhe
- Stuttgart
- Baden-Baden
- Strasbourg
- the Black forest...it is very famous for its hiking pathes!

The tram directly stops in our little village, only 2 minutes by feed from our house.
We love animals, so we have two cats, 5 rabbits and two tanks with fishes and shrimps. And we have a horse, so if you can ride and want to - feel free! :)
We have WLAN, so you will have free internet access!

Hi Helpers!
We like to introduce you to our 100 year old house with 0,5 ha around. We also rent out a holiday apartment for 2-4 person. On the area, there is small forest, a meadow with fruit trees and a garden where we grow organic vegetables for our supply.

We bought the house 3 years ago and there is still a lot to do, mainly outside. When you are skilled and like to create with us the environment, you are welcome to stay here and work and eat here as a member of the family (Peter 49, Kristina 44 and Max 12). We are a vegetarian household, Max is sometimes eating meat, but if you are used to eat meat every day, this is not the right place.
The work would be like:
-gardening (seeding, weeding, harvesting)
-renovating an old cottage (decorating, painting, laying a floor, building a bath?)
-building fences
-cutting trees
-feeding the chicken
-walking with the dog
-building huts in the forest
-cooking (if you like)

We are still looking for someone helping us in May and June. We don't need anyone in August and the first two weeks of September. We are mainly looking for helpers who want to stay for 2 weeks! You don't have to be fluent in German but some basic language skills would be good. We are a family of 4 + = Dad (Christian), mum (Cordula), Baby 1 (Ruben, 2), Baby 2 (Justus, 1) and Maggie the dog. We live in an old farmhouse with a nice garden in the lovely village Wenigumstadt. Grossostheim - Wenigumstadt belongs to the district of Aschaffenburg in the beautiful federal estate of Bavaria. The next bigger cities are Frankfurt am Main (35min. to airport), Wiesbaden (1,5h) and Mainz (1,5h). The area is also known as the Rhein-Main Metropolis, because of the rivers Rhein and Main.

I need 1 or 2 helpers to refresh my little house...You should have skills in renovating. There are some things to do like painting, doing a new floor, general house renovating, garden must brought in shape again.
I am 44 years old and I live in an isolated house in the Black Forest with an own water source, about one hour away from Strasbourg (France) and I was a helper on helpx myself, so I know what is important ;) You stay in the house in a room. There are two dogs you have to deal with; food and the meals we will have together or we can talk about it....it is useful if you have a driving license so you can ride my car; if you are looking for a quiet place for a certain time you are welcome! If you like trekking or paragliding-that's the place to go. You will have two days off, depends on what you need and want. Nice conversations, lots of music and laughter are included.
