Hello! Moien! Guten Tag! Bonjour!
My name is Hilde and I am proud to be the first host in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg!
I work full time, so I would love around 4 honest hours of help per day (or 6 hours one day and the next day off) in exchange for meals and good accommodation in my beautiful house. Help would be particularly appreciated with any the following:
(*) Home improvement projects, such as alterations and repairs.
(*) I rent out rooms through Air BnB and would love some help keeping the guests happy and comfortable. This may include ironing, cleaning and tidying as well as other general housework. The holidays are the busiest, but help and ideas for improvement are welcome at any time of the year.
(*) Occasional gardening work, weather permitting...

Who we are:
I share a place with my housemates Ana and Charel. All three of us work in the social sector.
Where we are:
We live in a house 40 kms north of Luxembourg-city in a village near Ettelbruck.
There are good train connections to and from Ettelbruck, only 15 minutes walk from our place.
What we offer:
We have a nice garden behind our house. We grow our own organic vegetables and fruit in the summer and there are lots of trees to find a cosy and breezy spot in the shade when the weather is hot. We have two bicycles that you might borrow if we don't need them ourselves.
We have a guest room in the attic with a bed and a couch and some inflatable mattresses. We also have two couches in our living room on the ground floor. Please bring your own sleeping bag if possible. If not we will find a blanket or sleeping bag for you.
We will offer you warm and cosy accomodation, a social and respectful surrounding, an insight into Luxembourgish culture, and vegetarian (...
