AHOOOOYYY MATES!

Get on board!And get the experience to restore an old dutch boat.

I'm creating a couchsurf/art boat in the Netherlands the boat right now is in Alkmaar and I'm looking for people that feel like helping out a bit.

The jobs are simple and the goal is to get this old vessel to work again! And to make a suitable place for working in art.

Its currently in the water and is shining in its full glory next to the beautiful windmills of Alkmaar (nearby Amsterdam).
After the boat is finished it will be sailed to Amsterdam.

If anyone feels like helping out for a afternoon (or more) is more than welcome.
I will be working on the boat for the next 3 months with friends and family.

In the evenings we can drink all together a beer on deck and share travel stories.

You don't need any expertise, only good vibes!

In our big organic garden with a beautiful design we grow, show and conserve as much as possible vegetables and other eatables. We grow over 300 kinds of potatoes and vegetables, many different nuts, herbs, flowers, fruits and more than 80 varieties of berries, We sell the products of the gardens on markets, to restaurants and in a selfservicestand alongside the road. Hello volunteers and travelers!

We are a 3 person family (Herman, Thea and Heleen) running a care farm with 15 horses in Heerde, a village in Gelderland. We can offer you a place to stay and food in exchange for 4-5 hours of work per day during the week.

Accommodation:
You will be accommodated (with max. 2 other helpers) in a cozy wooden cabin. It has a small kitchen (gas stove, fridge&freezer), a bathroom with a shower, two high sleeper beds, a couch (can be turned into an 1,5 person bed), a TV (Dutch and some English programs) and an inside fireplace for cold evenings =)
We will provide you with bread, sweet and hearty parfait, fresh eggs from our chicken etc. for breakfast and lunch and you’ll get a home cooked meal for dinner.

Work:

Hello volunteers,

We are a non-smoking family of 6 with 4 children (0, 5, 8 and 11), we live in Woerden in the old citycentre on walking distance from the trainstation (10 min). Public transport is really good here! If you’d come to the Netherlands by plane, you can easily take the train from Amsterdam airport to Utrecht and from there in 10 minutes to Woerden. Woerden is a nice small city with a rich history and lots of monumental buildings. If you wish to go to Amsterdam, Utrecht or cycle/hike through the green heart of Holland this is a good place to leave from. You can borrow our bikes if we don't need them. (We always have 1 spare bike)

Our house is not very luxury or spacey (it's a small familyhome in a row in the citycentre of Woerden), but we are used to hosting (through CouchSurfing) and we can definitely offer you nice meals, a private bedroom, shared bathroom, use of the washing machine and a good time.

We are currently recruiting people to come and help us at our two different hostels. We are looking for enthusiastic travelers who have similar experiences from the hostel world. We own 2 marvelous hostels: a 150 bed hostel 5 min. walk from the biggest beach of Holland (Scheveningen), the city center of The Hague is a 15 min. tram ride away. And a 100 bed hostel right in the center of lovely Delft, also named "little Amsterdam".

In each hostel we are looking for people who want to come and stay. In return for your help we offer accommodation in a shared room with the other so called Work & Stayers and breakfast and free WIFI is included. All helpers needs to be fluent in English.

Together with my friend I live in this friendly old farm, situated on an old Pilgrim's route to Santiago de Compostella, and 33km from Maastricht, south of Holland.
A lot of jobs I allready did, although I am not a superbuilder my self.Everything you see was done by constructionworkers so I really depend on your experience.
The job we can do is finish the walls and floor of a log cabin called The Resting Pilgrim. I will provide this small house for all kinds of people: travelers, pilgrims on their route to Santiago, but also exhausted single parents with an empty wallet. Hey-hey, probably you're reading now the description of the most interesting HelpX project!

So... what's that about? We invite ENG native speakers to Amsterdam from 19th July to 14th Aug to teach ENG to Russian students. You'll be teaching ENG every day in mornings; sometimes we'll need your help in evenings as well.
We provide accommodation (usually it's a single room in the city center of Amsterdam) but we DO NOT provide food money, compensation for travel or any other compensations.
You'll get a chance to spend a month in Amsterdam - one of the most amazing cities in the wolds!!))

In evenings we often have cultural/social activities and of course you'll be welcome to join!

For just two years now me and my dog Loes are living on this property that we've squatted in such a way that the owner now likes us to be here.
Its a former sanitorium complex which has burned down almost completely except for the directors villa wich we (with help of many)
are turning over into an sustainable self-sufficient guesthouse.
Practising permaculture, we aim to be sustainable by running the property off renewable energy sources, harvesting rain water for use with utilities and establishing an organic garden and art space.Al help is welcome, there's so much to do so you can do what you think would be beneficial or whatever you feel you can add. or whatever you wish to learn from my obtained skills thruout the years. Little organic farm project. Grow organic fruit and vegetables for own use and selling on small base. Also sheep farm. This property is surrounded with 2 acres of private woodland. The estate is used for living, office and offering of yogaclasses, workshops, meditation sessions.Also to be used as overnight accomodation for groups.
