Looking for helper late may and june.

located on the south-west coast of France, we own an old farm which, back in these days was employing around 50 employees. Commercial activities stopped and buildings were then left to mother nature's rules. We bought that house in 1999, and are still renovating it. We, Daniel and Patricia, will host you in a convivial atmosphere. I breed great danes and jack-russels and work on renovating our house while my wife Patricia works in Saintes as a school director. Our English is not fluent(we are a french couple) so we'd expect you to try and speak French as often as you can, our English being here to help you in cases. You would notice that we do love animals as on the property are: cats, great danes, jack-russels, 3 horses, a 5yo stalion, donkeys, chickens, pigeons (and sorry for the ones i'd have forgotten).

We are looking for two enthousiastic, non smoking builders who could come and help( together with my husband) us built two bedrooms in the attick ( putting in velux, walls, floors,...) Next to that project we would love to have a wooden playhouse in the garden for the kids.

We can offer you good food, a private bed- and bathroom, wifi, a TV, a nice area were you can make walks or bicle tours, motors tours, ride the horse, swim and take the jacuzzi, play biljart (pool), kickertable,..As we are from Belgium, speaking flemish, French and English, we have wonderfull Belgian beers that we can offer you in the evening, next to good wine ofcorse and a good chat.

Working during the week (5 days) flexible hours but an average of 6 hours a day and two days off to explore the area. We would like to make time for you to show you the area of caves, old towns, markets, big towns, beautifull nature, good food, wine,...if you want. :)

LOOKING FOR HELPERS WHO WANT TO EXPERIENCE THE BEAUTY OF SOUTH WEST FRANCE AN HOUR NORTH OF BORDEAUX.
We are a gay couple, Andy and Jason and we moved to the beautiful countryside of South West France three years ago in order to create a mind, body and soul retreat to complement our existing businesses. Our aim is to open our retreat in the summer of 2013 and we will be offering courses on Yoga, Feng Shui, Transformational Breathing, Creative Writing, Painting, Angels and many more.

Our home has been renovated to a high standard and offers 5 bedrooms, 3 twins and 2 doubles, all en-suite.A large and airy dining room, guest sitting room set in 1 acre of outside space. Projects include Carpentry, Plastering, Walling, Land Clearing, and mechanical engineering on a range of garden equipment ranging from the 1950s to recent. We also grow as much of our own food as possible.
We are not seeking helpers that only want to clean and cook.

We are non smoking and prefer helpers that do not smoke. Helpers should be happy to live as part of the team during their stay, we would expect this to involve helping prepare meals and the inevitable clearing away after.
Helpers are sometimes asked to assist with household chores as part of their hours. We accept vegetarians but cannot cater for vegans.

ABOUT US :
We are a french couple with a young kid, Timeo, one 1/2 year old. Cecile is taking care of Timeo, and another baby is coming in september. She used to be a teacher in primary school, she likes alternative pedagogy, gardening, playing board games and plays harp for years .
Christophe is a cook by trade and passionate by eco-building (he built already 3 houses).
We have traveled around the world being woofer or helper.

We are Bob, Kathy and Mista, an English couple in early/mid 50s and our Portuguese rescue dog. We usually have our grandson here for the summer holidays. We live in a beautiful part of South West France, one hour from Toulouse and 25 minutes from Albi. We are both here full time and we are part way through a house and garden renovation. I have recently moved from the countryside to a small town and need some help renovating my house and garden. The town is quiet but has lots of facilities including bars, restaurants, outdoor pool, a lake and a river. My house is set in the centre of the town but is quite quiet and secluded. I have recently had a new roof and the electrics rewired and now there is the rest of the work to be done and I would appreciate anybody with some DIY skills and /or gardening skills. Tasks I need help with are cutting wood, tidying the garden, making a pond, painting, carpentry, plastering etc. In return for 5-6 hours work a day for 5 days a week, you will have your own comfortable room, and all meals.
