We could do with some help on the land and the new garden around the new house. We have 1 hen &3 ducks & 60 gold fish in our pond . The forest also needs a bit of looking after ,clearing & pruning trees. We also have a small vegetable garden on the go. We are building a green house this winter to start plants for the new garden. We are about 6 k out of the village .We speak english, dutch,german and a bit of french.

I live in the Algarve Portugal. I live in the countryside but near a village and a couple of cafes
I am trying to be self suficient and have egg laying hens and a couple of pigs. My helpers have been helping me prepare and plant out my veg garden and have been making a fantastic job. I would like to continue with my gardening and any help would be appreciated I am happy to offer accomodation and food for 4 hours a day 6 days a week. I am scottish though live among the portuguese and am only 15 mins in car from towns Loule and Faroand 20 mins walk from the village of St Barbara De Nexe. Looking forward to hearing from helpers.. a couple or 2 friends works well I need help rom 27th May till 15th June.

We live in the Serra Monchique, between Marmelete and barragem bravura. 18km to the west cost (Aljezur) and the same to the south cost (Lagos). We are 3 persons. We are starting Organic agriculture, self-sufficiency natural life.

We have an old clay house, a caravan, a Jurte, an own lake to swim, and a very big lake in a distance of 4km.
we get water from a lake and a spring and have electricity from
Solar energy.
We are starting to make a garden with organic agriculture and permaculture..
Now we want to build more greenhouses, plant fruit trees....vegetable, build more Jurtes, clay and wooden cottages, build clay walls and repair our clay oven. We are making more Hill Beds, an outside Kitchen .. Every Friday we make a Pizza Night. All wwofers around and guests are welcome.
Our guests and woofers and helpers can sleep in the caravan, in our house, in a jurte, a big tent, or Autocaravans. It depends, how many people are here. We have a Compost Toilet, more pictures see... more inside

I have 34 years and i am in these old farme to take care, and regenerate the space. Now i am start doing the planting of vegetable garden and take care the yang trees.
I am looking for people to come and stay in exchange for about 2-4 hours work a day 5 days a weck for an bed in a room and food, in my house.

The farm has around 5000 trees including 400 olives, orange trees, apples, pears, vines and others . I have also 3 cats 2 dogs and chikens.
The farm is an old farm to five minutes walk of Penamacor, a beautiful mediaval vilage with many good views. I need some help to restore the place, make the vegetable garden and take care.

We are an English family with chickens and cats living on a 7 hectare Permaculture Forest Garden which we have developed over the last 13 years, it is a mature example and one of the largest in Europe.We are aiming to be as self sufficient as poss and are currently extending our forest garden,designing and planting a new 2 hectare area. It is a big project and we would love to have helpers interested in this project and the field of forest gardening who are also willing to do other seasonal work on the farm.We are particularly interested in having PDC graduates who want to take their learning a bit further and gain practical experience.
We run Introduction to Forest Gardening Open Days once a month and other workshops on sustainability.
The farm runs on solar energy,we have our own springs and there are compost toilets (as shown in photo).

Small organic farm with animals. We have a luxury caravan for helpers to stay in(it has an out side bathroom and kitchen area as well as the ones in the caravan. We require person/persons to help run our small farm and duties would be planting, weeding, watering, helping construct animal shelters and occasional feeding of animals. Occasionally looking after the farm over night so we can have a break. Must be dog friendly!!!!!!This is a working farm and as such the proper working cloths and footwear(boots)are essential. In the past helpers who turned up with just flipflops made it clear they were not here to help but to try and have a free holiday.We are not a campsite(FREE) for travelers.Genuine helpers are always welcome. see you

Ancient Convent, recently restored, dating from the 17th century, in the middle of a farm with 4 ha situated right next to the beautiful village of Castelo de Vide and 10 km from Marvao.
The farm has olive trees, chestnut trees, fruit trees, a big well and a natural spring.
We are now in the process of starting a vegetable garden and doing some landscaping and we will need people to help us out with cleaning, trimming, planting, recovering walls and all kinds of agricultural work. Now we have some sheep and in the near future we will have donkeys, chickens, dogs, and a peacock ...:):):):):):):):)
We will also need help developing our website.
Inside the house there are lovely granite door frames that are painted and need to be brushed off and cleaned, furniture and windows need a little work (mainly sanding). The chapel needs to be cleaned and painted.
