I'm Kike and I'm rebuilding a house in a small land in a town at Girona's coast (Costa Brava) "Sant Feliu de Guixols" about one hour from Barclona, 5 minutes from the sea and mountain around.
I'm trying to make a self-sustainable house, actually the house is ready to live in and I'm working with vegetable garden, chickens, wood for winter, solar water heating and so on...
I speak Catalan, Spanish, English, French and Italian.
We'll be working together about 5 hours a day 5 days a week with vegetable garden, wood, animals, building... and sharing the house works like cooking and cleaning, timetable can be flexible. I'll provide 3 meals a day ...

I am working on an old palace (15th C) in the very heart of an old walled town (the house has a small patio (i.e. a yard) but no land - open countryside just a minute away), so as to turn it (gradually) into an exciting venture which will include bars, a space in which theatre can be performed, a sales space (crafts, products of the area? ham, cheese, wine?), and in the longer term, a medium sized restaurant. It is unlikely that much money will be made. instead I am probably seeking to turn it into a work of art.
Apart from regular helpers, I am also looking for someone who can work with me to run either the whole project or take on some specific part of it (especially the theatre side) when it is operating - (short-term help in the shop or bars to get them off the ground MAY be needed soon, and if there is a capable actor/director out there, he/she can have pretty well carte blanche to produce a heritage/history experience in the house and around the town - it will be in Spanis...

Helpers wanted now, due to cancellation; clearing land, digging and planting, collecting and cutting firewood, general property maintenance.
Deep in the Natural Park, high in the mountains, come and try living semi-self-sufficiently to see if you like it.
I have a chunk of very remote mountain in a totally tranquil and isolated setting, surrounded by forests. It's in the Sierra Nevada Natural Park, very high at 1700m. There is a 2800m peak (San Juan) about 3 hours walk away for mountain lovers to climb on their days off. The air is incredibly clean and fresh. There are dozens of walking tracks through the mountains, great for mountain bikes (I have 1 for you to use) as well as trekking, with abundant wildlife, rare plants and amazing mountain and sea views.
I ask people to work about 5 hours per day, 5 days a week, lend a hand on the communal tasks and generally add a positive attitude... no experience required and plenty of home brewed cider to drink.

Our finca is a beautiful, very green and wild piece of land for the most basic of experiences. We have been living here, in Asturias, the north of Spain, since the summer of 2011. Since then we've built up our yurt, created organic vegetable gardens, and made the most basic of facilities like a compost-toilet and an open-air bathtub. For helpers we have a nice little yurt, a comfortable camper van with stove and enough possibility for camping in summer.
Its a big land and there is a lot of hard work, so a stay here is not fit for people who are looking for relaxing holidays. Our projects sustain in cutting wood, bio-construction, cleaning fields, clear paths, clean streams, organic gardening (with an openness towards permacultural, bio-dynamical or other techniques), etc. We also have three horses (and a foal on it's way) and a sweet donkey. Without too much experience we are trying to train them for working and riding.

Cottage set on a working farm surrounded by olive groves, almond orchards and grain fields. Goats and sheep, horses and chickens roam, often freely. Stunning scenery, perfect walking country and yet only 2.8km from the historic town of Alhama de Granada and the walking routes of GR7 and the Washington Irving Literary Route. Granada 1 hour and Malaga approx. 1 hour 20 mins. Seville and Cordoba around 2 hours.
Setting up as small and exclusive dog kennels, behaviour, rehabilitation and workshop centre. The work needed is weeding/strimming and painting/weather proofing. Happy to cater for vegetarians and vegans. Must like dogs and cats! One week at a time available.
Easy to walk or cycle into town, but happy to give lifts and arrange some site seeing. Wifi available at the cottage. English speaking but learning Spanish and happy for any pratice!
