Hello. We are a Spanish family (45, 42 and a 10 years old girl) who moves to Malta in July. We seek a person who has English as their first language and some experience teaching English language to help us adapt to life in English in Malta, especially for the girl, because she starts her school there in late September and her level of English is very low. We are a quiet family, open, sociable and tolerant. If you like to talk, be with kids, Spanish food and summer in Malta, we invite you to spend with us. Also, you can take Spanish classes, if you want, because mom is an experienced teacher. We do not know where exactly in the island we live, but will probably be in the central area (Attard, Balzan, Lija, ...). We are looking for a home where you can have your own private room and bathroom.

We offer FREE accommodation which includes covering expenses relating to rent of apartment, heating, water and electricity to our volunteers.
We will pick you up from the airport and see you there when you leave. We will also provide you with a bicycle at no extra charge, to get around, and to get to work.
We have been hosting volunteers from different countries since 1996. Placements are available on both a short term and a long term basis for local or foreign volunteers on most of our projects.
Opportunities range from:
1. working in our specialised plant nursery for indigenous and endemic plants 2. guiding visitors around our project sites 3. helping out in our organic olive grove 4. giving a hand with the tree planting and seed gathering 5. assisting our Gaia rangers on beach watch in the summer months and 6. helping to man an information and refreshment kiosk also in the summer.
Book early to avoid disappointment.
