I have 7 hectares of pomegranates, cultivated using a unique, cutting edge trelissing system. The orchard is located in a beautiful desert location in the Ramat Negev highlands, surrounded by a sand dune nature reserve. This is a new farm, giving the volunteers and opportunity to take part in a pioneering experience. I am also participating with various eco-projects in the community- a straw bale house and building with earth.
at the moment we need help desine the trees
and we are lucky to have wonderfull people here with an amezing Atmosphere. Room and board are included. The volunteers borard in a caravan home in the field, with compost toilets.. Part of the work will involve building and fixing up the living area for helpers and volunteers.

Silent Arrow is a unique guest house in the lovely Israeli desert, not far away from Macktesh Ramon (Ramon crater) near the town of Mitzpe Ramon. We offer an authentic tent accommodation, camping for backpackers, workshops hospitality and a lot of inspiration, all just a few minutes’ walk to all the services you need in town (bank, supermarket, clinic, etc.)
There is no electricity in the site (our light comes from candles and flashlights. Computers and cell phones can be charged in town). Clean and organized toilets and showers are available on the site, with hot water 24/7.
The work is basically welcoming the guests, showing them around, being there for any help or questions, and always keeping the place nice and clean. Because guests come and go, sometimes we have a lot of work, and other times it is quite as only the desert can be... That's why we don't ask you to work for any specific hours in a given day, but we DO EXPECT you to work hard whenever there is stuff to ...

This is a hiker-friendly, eco-friendly and just generally friendly hostel run by two experienced tour guides who have fallen in love with the desert and share this love and advice every day. We need help with running the place, which means - help with checking people in, with creating a good fun atmosphere, with the laundry & Cleaning, giving advice about the hiking trails in the area, keeping our FaceBook page active, and basically anything that you can contribute to our new place.
The hostel is right next to the amazing Ramon crater (macktesh), and we encourage you to go out hiking & exploring as much as possible.
We give you a home for your whole time here, free Wifi, laundry facilities, hiking gear act'... and we ask for 5 hours a day - 5 days a week of helping us out, in return.

We offer accommodation and some food in exchange for helping around the hostel. Must speak English and be confident, good with people and responsible. Minimum stay 1 month
Hi everybody. we have recently started a volunteer programme at our hostel. The work varies from day to day and there is always something to do. It's a unique experience and each day here is spent in the company of new and interesting people. In exchange for a bed, breakfast and use of the hostels facilities, volunteers stay in to welcome guests from 2-7pm and spend 2 of those hours working around the hostel which could be fixing or painting or whatever needs doing. There is another shift from 10pm-3am. We normally have 3 volunteers so that they can arrange the shifts with each other to give themselves time to enjoy the city and travel. It is a good situation for someone who likes to meet new people and fits the atmosphere here, as the hostel is their home while they are staying. The hostel is a young and inti...

We have a small goat farm, producing organic cheeses, our goats go out to graze in the valleys around the village. We are situated in southern Israel. We provide separate accommodation, a two bedroom building with sitting room/kitchen and of course toilet and shower, of course electricity, water , gas, fridge, washing machine, and we provide all the food, which you cook yourselves. Work begins early morning, tacking the goats out to graze in the valleys, help with cheese making, and other "bits and bobs" about the farm. Bus reaches our village once a day. About 4 hours morning and then early evening 2 hours, compulsory 1 day off during the week and if you want more we are very easy with that. We will be very happy to answer any questions you might have.

Our family farm is located in the desert, with a breathtaking view of the mountains surrounding it. It is south of the Dead Sea and north of the coastal city, Eilat. We cultivate a variety of animals, vegetables and fruit. The work day consists of six hours, six days a week; there is greenhouse work and goat cheesemaking. Volunteering on the farm can be for short (minimum two weeks) or long term periods. We provide accommodation and food. Cooking is done communally and is vegetarian and kosher. Afternoons are social time and we encourage initiative for activities. Horses and bicycles on the farm can be a great way to explore the area, as well as hiking. At night, we and the volunteers run our small local pub. We offer a challenging experience which includes learning the workings of a sustainable agricultural desert farm, meeting new and interesting people, and the amazing atmosphere of the Arava desert.
