Hello, we are an older couple living in a house with 7 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms. My husband loves to cook and look after people. I am still busy helping my daughter with her business. We have a golden retriever and a cat in the house, both part of the family and we love them very much.
We live right on the Bay of Fundy, at a beach, and it is beautiful.

Since we are older, we would need help with mowing, painting, walking the dog, etc. I am also a vendor at the wolfville farm market and might need help there also. We are always busy in the summer and there is always stuff to do. I will spend time also in Harbourville, where we have cottage rentals and would also take you with me to Harbourville.

You will have your own room, great food and be right on the water.
Drop me a line of you are interested. Cheers, Maria

We have a simple but modern homestead in the beautiful wooded hills of central PEI.
We can use help with household chores, small organic vegetable and flower gardens, cutting and splitting firewood, wood trail maintenance, home construction and renovation projects, home maintenance, wood lot maintenance, organizing nails and screws and other hardware, painting, staining and many other small tasks.
We have 'out the back door' access to great hiking and skiing trails and canoeing. And we're close to the South Shore beaches and lovely villages (everything's pretty close on PEI). We love and sometimes organize singalongs and community dances.
Fragrance free zone!

The farm is situated in Nova Scotia on Canada`s east coast, more precise: on the Minas Basin the very tip of the Bay of Fundy. We are the home of Norwegian Fjord Horses. Our pastures go down to the shore line. We are famous for the worlds highest recorded tides, 12 - 16 meter twice daily. It is one of the most spectacular and magic places on earth.

If you love nature, are interested to have contact with gentle horses, and learn about natural horsemenship, you are on the right place.

The youngsters need some training and the older horses love to go on the trail.

One or two are welcome to help with the horses and all the work in and out on the farm. -No fear there is plenty of free time too.
Good riders preferred.

This is a nascent family farm that wants to be a soil-building, carbon-sequestering, food-raising, community-nurturing, nature-connecting, regenerative permaculture homestead and learning centre when it grows up.

The household is focused on learning about all the things. There is an extensive library, musical instruments abound and a love of food, locally and sustainably grown, is central. We work hard but also love being creative, having Pizza and Movie Night and exploring the woods to ferret out some of Mother Nature's secrets. We speak some French and are interested in learning about Your launguage and culture.

Though generally we will work together on projects, I sometimes have non-farm-related work that takes my time and attention, so the ability to work independently is important. I'm also involved in a land/cropshare, seed grow-out and flax-for-fibre experiment on a nearby farm, in which you might also get the opportunity to participate.

We use permaculture principle... more inside
