We have just under two acres of botanical garden on a salmon spawning creek on a quiet country street in Langley, B.C. We are just one hour by car from Vancouver. There are two small greenhouses, lots of ornamental perennials, shrubs, trees, vegetables, herb garden, fruit trees and loads of flowers. We have a pond with a fountain and there are close to 70 species of birds that visit us through the year. We have a varied diet and can cater to most tastes. The duties would consist of general gardening and landscaping. Help in the kitchen is always needed & appreciated. There is no smoking allowed in the house. We could use one or two people at a time that would share a bedroom with two single beds. We accept people year round. Volunteering hours expected: 5 or 6 hours 5 days. You can help with gardening, baking bread, and just practicing our languages. As my husband is at his work during the evenings, we would prefer a female helper. We are your hosts, Willie and Lori.

We are currently taking reservations for: January and February. We will be harvesting cashmere in January and goats will be having babies in February. Pruning blueberry bushes may also be happening as weather permits. Two friends or a couple is ideal.

If you request to come to our farm and decide to go elsewhere, please be considerate and let us know as soon as possible. We get many requests, but have limited space. We don't believe in double booking. But if you don't let us know that you won't be here, and we think you are, then we are without any help.

About us: We started our farm in 2006. We have a small farm with a variety of operations going on, including cashmere goats, u-pick blueberries, small greenhouse, home garden veggies. Animals on farm include goats, llamas, dogs, cats, and chickens. Since we have so many animals already here, and for bio-security reasons, we will not be accepting additional travelling pets. Sorry for the... more inside

Come take part in the best outdoor experience Canada has to offer!

Centrally located on waterfront and nestled between the Coastal mountains we have some of the best climbing, kiting, biking, kayaking, skiing, hiking and mountaineering around. No other North American destination offer this caliber of outdoor adventure in one location!

Our Inn is a 24 room mid-sized hostel and Inn (The only one in Squamish!) which tends to be much more on the adventurer side rather then a "Party" destination. That being said, every day we're full of exciting and adventurous people of all ages who are coming to experience Squamish. We're passionate about the surrounding wilderness, have a very Canadian Lodge'ish vibe, and are the perfect place for you to experience all that Squamish and British Columbia have to offer.

We're also right downtown so cafe's, bus stops, grocery stores, restaurants and pubs are all within a few minutes walk from our door. We don't have a restaurant (so you're resp... more inside
