Soecific Dates: Our summer schedule is filling up quickly, but we still have some space available.

Specific Projects:
We always have many things to accomplish in the summer and always appreciate having Helpxers here. This summer will be a little different because we will need help with the usual projects (like painting and yard work)--plus we will need additional help with daily household activities (like cooking and shopping). The person who is normally responsible for these activities will be recovering from surgery and will simply need someone to assist her in her chores.

House & Projects:
When we bought our house 4 years ago, it needed a LOT of work: remodeling, painting, carpentry, landscaping, etc. We've made many improvements, but there are still many more projects to do.

We are a multi-generational family of 5 ranging in age from 36 to 63. Plus, we have 17 chickens and 2 border collies.

In the last 3 years, we have had great experiences with many HelpXers fro... more inside

This is a 6.75 acre farm of all sorts of exotic tropical fruit trees and ordinary fruit trees and vegetables and macadamia nuts and bamboos and special grasses. We grow white sapotes, cherimoyas, avocados, tropical guavas, citrus, apples, peaches, nectarines, loquats, pomegranates, persimmon, surinam cherries, dragon fruit and mulberries, etc. We are raising chickens and worms. We are always building new things for the farm and making new gardens and doing maintenance on the farm. The building of things often involves welding.

It is warm and sunny all year around, with what little rain we get coming usually between November and March. The farm is always frost free. It is pretty hot in the middle of the day in the summer (can have days in 80's and 90's at anytime of the year), so working then is better in the mornings or late afternoons. The farm is on the side of a hill and is steep in places so one must be a bit careful and wear work shoes and we do not take obese volunte... more inside

After 9 years in beautiful Haines, Alaska I have relocated to a raw mountain ranch at 4750 ft elevation, located in Crescent Lake Oregon.
I am needing ongoing help with fencing and some building, animal care, clearing, wood cutting, path building, etc. House is small, but nice. Barn is located away from the house, with a loft.
I have alpacas, llamas goats, dogs, cats and of course, chickens.
For accommodation: there is a spare room, small but it has a bunk bed and a desk and I am able to supply a roll-away bed if needed. There is also a barn with a nice loft, for sleeping in semi-camping style. There is plenty of room to camp, as well, in a wonderful forest setting that is just east of Willamette Pass.
We are surrounded by lakes and the area is loaded with hiking trails, very close to the PCW access and Willamette Pass Ski area (which has downhill and cross country skiing available).
I provide meals, beds and will do my best to facilitate your adventures here. I cook with ... more inside

i have 20 acres of mostly pastureland where i have goats, horses, yaks, chickens, ducks, dogs, cats and a pig. im also working on building several buildings and fences. theres also a large garden area and there are berries and fruit trees. its off the grid but i do have a generator and some solar power. its a couple miles from arcata and just a short walk to an organic coffee shop. ive done all the development on this place myself and im just looking for some help with all this stuff. work will include jobs like digging, weeding, mowing, moving materials, gardening, animal care, milking and some help with building. i also have some rentals in town that i may need help with. accommodations are comfortable but a bit simple, i have a short bus set up as a bedroom and the upstairs of a unfinished house/barn set up for people to stay in. this is not a functioning farm, its more like a homestead, hobby, way of life. there have been times in the past where enough food has been produced her... more inside

We are a homestead living as sustainably as possible in northern California. We produce much of our own food with a garden and farm animals (goats and chickens at the moment). We are located in a 40 acre parcel of forest with redwood, douglas fir, madrone and tanoak. We use wood for heat, solar panels for electric and have our own water from an underground well. We use Biodynamic Agriculture practices on our land. A car is helpful but not required. By public transportation it is possible to get within a 20 minute drive where we can pick you up. We are 20 minutes drive from the ocean and 30 minutes from the nearest town. If you do not have your own car you will spend most of your visit on the homestead. There is a swimming hole and redwood preserve a one hour walk away. We have walking trails throughout our own forest. Private lodging is provided in a cabin or trailer with a private kitchen. We provide simple, organic omnivore ingredients and guests will cook most of their own me... more inside

We are a Spiritual retreat center located close to the beautiful town of Julian in Southern California. We are located about an hour drive away from San Diego, and we are a few miles away from Julian.

We are in the midst of gorgeous rural native trees and nature away from urban life here. We are not affiliated with any particular spiritual ideology or philosophy with a central authority, but we are rather a community of truth seekers learning and growing in the mirror of relationship and intelligent questioning of everything; and love, we believe, is the only light in this spiritual journey.

We have only very Yummy, healthy and organic Vegan and Vegetarian food here shared with all community members, and our community is Drugs, Alcohol and Tobacco free. We would love to welcome new members who would like to have some peaceful time and help us in the ways that fit them best. RIGHT NOW I'M LOOKING FOR SOMEBODY TO START HELPING ME IN JULY 2017. I'M ALSO PLANNING FOR THE FUTURE PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME.
Vegan and vegetarian friendly!

Hi my name is Bruce.
I'm wondering if you would be interested in helping someone like myself. By the previous sentence I mean someone who is charming, wonderful, engaging, intelligent and shy. I broke my neck when I was 18 years old and have been in a wheelchair ever since. After breaking my neck I went back to school and received a couple of degrees. Most of my life I have been working until recently and that is because I came down with a condition called hypotension which is something that is difficult to manage but is livable. I'm looking for someone who is energetic, intelligent and ready to take on a challenge. It's important to me that whomever I choose has good sense humor and can understand sarcasm. I'm also a liberal and I am concerned about politics along with many other things. If you'd like to know more ... more inside
