After 9 years in beautiful Haines, Alaska I have relocated to a raw mountain ranch at 4750 ft elevation, located in Crescent Lake Oregon.
I am needing ongoing help with fencing and some building, animal care, clearing, wood cutting, path building, etc. House is small, but nice. Barn is located away from the house, with a loft.
I have alpacas, llamas goats, dogs, cats and of course, chickens.
For accommodation: there is a spare room, small but it has a bunk bed and a desk and I am able to supply a roll-away bed if needed. There is also a barn with a nice loft, for sleeping in semi-camping style. There is plenty of room to camp, as well, in a wonderful forest setting that is just east of Willamette Pass.
We are surrounded by lakes and the area is loaded with hiking trails, very close to the PCW access and Willamette Pass Ski area (which has downhill and cross country skiing available).
I provide meals, beds and will do my best to facilitate your adventures here. I cook with ... more inside

We have a small non-certified organic garden space, about 2500sq ft total (spread out over the property), for community eating. We are a small community with a few tiny houses and a regular house. We are currently looking for Helpx'ers to stay for about a 1-4 weeks at a time and to help with weeding and building a trellis. In trade, we have space for you to camp in your tent and a bathroom inside the house, but prefer if you have your own stove to cook on outside. You are welcome to set up a little outdoor kitchen and i can provide a canopy and table to help create the space. I have a lot of guests inside the house, so less traffic in there is better, though if you need anything, i'm happy to share cooking utensils, spices, etc.. This is a totally amazing city with lots to do just 20 blocks away. Nestled in the heart of the Willamette Valley.. just an hour from the most beautiful, scenic views of many mountains, waterfalls and hiking. Contact me if this sounds like a place you want... more inside

We generally host from a few days to one week maximum. This summer we're hosting a big family event in August, so we're very limited on time frames we're available to host. We need gardening help and cleaning help between July 23 - July 31.

Location: suburban neighborhood in Bellingham, WA -- you can read more below the ******* about our area.

We host for a few days to one week. We host people who are open to doing varied tasks inside the house and out (some examples: ongoing weeding and garden maintenance, landscape projects, washing windows, deep cleaning, digging and lifting for some building projects, painting). When our projects are outdoors, we work rain or shine!

(Most summers, but not until late August this summer) We are also interested in hosting people here who would like to participate in local gleaning projects. These happen between late July and November, but they are announced more last-minute. If you are interested in potentially doing this for our com... more inside

Courteous, tidy, well-groomed and enthusiastic adults with great social skills desired to help with historic 1886 bed & breakfast on the Mendocino Coast, 3 hours north of San Francisco. We need help with hospitality, maintenance, and special projects. Day-to-day operations may include any of the following: cleaning, housekeeping, gardening, and front office (reception, in person and on phone). Kitchen tasks require California 'Safe Serve' certification. Special projects may include construction, plumbing, electrical, and painting. Minimum age 21, no dependent children. Most tasks require some level of physical stamina - the back end of a bed and breakfast is not a walk in the park!

Special consideration will be given to helpers who have construction skills.

NON-DRINKERS, or MODERATE DRINKERS, ONLY! All helpers need to be attuned to high-end hospitality needs, and capable of sober, considerate interaction with guests at any time.

RIGHT NOW I'M LOOKING FOR SOMEBODY TO START HELPING ME IN JUNE 2017. I'M ALSO PLANNING FOR THE FUTURE PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME.
Vegan and vegetarian friendly!

Hi my name is Bruce.
I'm wondering if you would be interested in helping someone like myself. By the previous sentence I mean someone who is charming, wonderful, engaging, intelligent and shy. I broke my neck when I was 18 years old and have been in a wheelchair ever since. After breaking my neck I went back to school and received a couple of degrees. Most of my life I have been working until recently and that is because I came down with a condition called hypotension which is something that is difficult to manage but is livable. I'm looking for someone who is energetic, intelligent and ready to take on a challenge. It's important to me that whomever I choose has good sense humor and can understand sarcasm. I'm also a liberal and I am concerned about politics along with many other things. If you'd like to know more ... more inside

We are a couple from Ireland and LA, renovating our place to create a small meditation centre. We have a beautiful property just outside Ojai, California not far from Los Angeles. It is a beautiful, nature filled place with lots of trees and a creek running through. At this time of the year the orange and avocado trees are in bloom and all around the area. There is so much wildlife on the property too.

We are currently renovating and creating a meditation building so anyone with construction, electrical, plumbing and landscaping experience is most welcome at this time and also those who are willing to learn.

We look forward to hearing from you!
Derek and Chesaray

Help wanted for the garden, small, but hopefully bountiful as the season progresses. I have a private upstairs room in exchange for help around the house. Kitchen and garage need organizing. Electrical outlets replacing, shed needs fixing from winter storm damage. Garden watered and cared for. Cats fed and loved. Books to be read on the hammock. And a random variety of other chores, tasks, ideas, artsy things, and who knows what else. Cook and eat meals in the kitchen, I am vegan, so rice and beans are my fix. Lentil Lunes! Lots of cookbooks for you to peruse through. The house is perfect for someone who likes to read or study a new passion or life experiment.
Over the mountain from Lake Tahoe, hour south of Reno. A car would probably help given how spread out everything is here, but walkable for the daily essentials. The house is in the downtown of the small town, but summer activities do happen. Tuesday night farmers markets all summer. If you have your own car I do encourage d... more inside

At our farm here in the Coachella Valley we grow 5 varieties of dates; Medjool, Barhi, Khadrawi, Halawi & Zahidi....and we also have young plantings of mango, temple orange, moringa, Peruvian apple cactus and navel orange.

Tasks include: irrigation, pruning, picking, fertilizing, pollination, clean-up, trenching, house cleaning, road repair. Tile setters & concrete workers are appreciated here, and so are nomadic carpenters or anyone with experience using ropes and equipment for rock climbing since I need to adapt this skill on my tall palm trees. We clean our soaking pools regularly. For the upcoming season Date pickers are needed to fill the period with 2 volunteers from around August 7th till August 26th.
My hot springs is located in a very remote setting in the Coachella Valley of the southern California desert about 2 hours and 30 minutes from Los Angeles, or 50 miles southeast of Palm Springs, just off highway 111, in the morning shadow of the Chocolate Mountains, overloo... more inside
