My place is very small but in a very vibrant, young and intellectual community which is very near to UCLA, Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Santa Monica and Venice Beach. I should say that I am a sociologists and like to interact with my guests and just have you to do some very simple data entry tasks for an hour or two a day which should not require much brain power.

We are a Spiritual retreat center located close to the beautiful town of Julian in Southern California. We are located about an hour drive away from San Diego, and we are a few miles away from Julian.

We are in the midst of gorgeous rural native trees and nature away from urban life here. We are not affiliated with any particular spiritual ideology or philosophy with a central authority, but we are rather a community of truth seekers learning and growing in the mirror of relationship and intelligent questioning of everything; and love, we believe, is the only light in this spiritual journey.

We have only very Yummy, healthy and organic Vegan/Vegetarian food here shared with all community members, and our community is Drugs, Alcohol and Tobacco free. We would love to welcome new members who would like to have some peaceful time and help us in the ways that fit them best. After 9 years in beautiful Haines, Alaska I have relocated to a raw mountain ranch at 4750 ft elevation, located in Crescent Lake Oregon.
I am needing ongoing help with fencing and some building, animal care, clearing, wood cutting, path building, etc. House is small, but nice. Barn is located away from the house, with a loft.
I have alpacas, llamas goats, dogs, cats and of course, chickens.
For accommodation: there is a spare room, small but it has a bunk bed and a desk and I am able to supply a roll-away bed if needed. There is also a barn with a nice loft, for sleeping in semi-camping style. There is plenty of room to camp, as well, in a wonderful forest setting that is just east of Willamette Pass.
We are surrounded by lakes and the area is loaded with hiking trails, very close to the PCW access and Willamette Pass Ski area (which has downhill and cross country skiing available).
I provide meals, beds and will do my best to facilitate your adventures here. I cook with ... more inside

We are a two and a half acre family farm specializing in delicious blackberries and brown eggs from pasture raised chickens. Our farm also provides multiple bed and breakfast listings. I run the farm and also hold a full time job while my wife is a midwifery student. We are looking for a nanny to help with our four children and help with various tasks around the house and farm. Possibility to immediately convert to extra hours for nice stipend. We offer lodging, wifi and all meals and a fun communal setting with all who live with us. We eat primarily plant-based with occasional meat, meat broths, etc. Can easily accommodate vegan diets. Need to be a good driver. We have an extra car used for children transport, occasional use of the vehicle for personal use ok if needed.

Our homestead is 3.5 acres located in Santa Barbara County’s beautiful wine country. We are in the small town of Santa Ynez which is approx. 30 miles from Santa Barbara. We have owned our property for three years. We would love to be self-sufficient one day. We have 30some chickens, 2 goats 3 turkeys, 1 tortoise, 6 geese and 4 dogs. We love our fresh organic eggs and we sell some of the extras in the spring and summer when the girls are busiest. The animals are all our pets and many are rescues. They bring us so much joy and laughter.

We are learning about Biodynamic and Permaculture and trying to implement that on our homestead. It is a learning process but a very exciting one!

My husband has built our new chicken coop but we still need to finish the exterior. It was a lot of work for him but he did an amazing job considering he did it by himself. We had a wonderful Wwoofer this summer that helped us get a lot done. The garden beds we already had got weeded and seeds plante... more inside

Mountainside farm close to Yosemite National Park with 100 mile views. It's complete solitude here that hundreds of millions of people have seen.
I have Queensland Heeler dogs, raise chickens for eggs, grow fruit trees, veggies, herbs, spices and medicinal plants. I take volunteers year round.
I have lived in the Yosemite area since 1985, I married into the Yosemite Indian Tribe and have Yosemite Indian children. Yosemite is a big part of my life and my farm. We have a living culture that is year round and I regularly take my volunteers to the ceremonies.

PLEASE! Click on all 3 website links and read my Couchsurfing profile and binding references.
