We have been married for 38 years but are very young at heart. We love adventure and sharing our home and our lives with others. We lived in Mexico for 5 years running a children's home. We are an ethnically diverse family, having adopted 2 Mexican brothers from the children's home. Our four children are grown and live all over the U.S.

We love learning about other cultures and experiencing different perspectives and have hosted guests through Hospitality Club, Couchsurfing and Airbnb, as well as numerous travelers over the years before there was internet networking. We have also been active with Concerts in Your Home. We are easy to be with and relate well to all ages.

Our home is located on the site of an old Mill that was burned during the Civil War. You can still see the remains of the dams that powered it and we are always digging up old bricks when we work outside. We have completed a lot of renovation on the interior of our home and are working on the outside now. We h... more inside

We farm organically, much of it with horses and live sort of self-sufficient lifestyle in off grid home. Presently interested in moving toward permaculture concepts.

Farm/music clip on youtube is good introduction, see below or youtube link above. It is few years old, so family changing. Children growing /going and we lost my wife in 2010, so now only two children still on the farm. We are too short handed to continue as normal, so are scaling down, but trying 'work exchange' programs to have some extra hands around.

Located in beautiful central Kentucky, one hour north of music city USA (Nashville, TN). Lots of lakes, rivers and world's largest cave system. Mammoth Cave National Park. Also Great Smoky Mountain National Park, which is America most visited Park and is an easy drive. Check them both out on line.

We're not commercially farming now, just growing and preserving much of our own food and for our animals. We eat pretty healthy. Though we are not vegetarians, we ... more inside

This is a house on a large lot on a quiet dead end street with public transportation to downtown Mobile AL. Some of the rooms in the house are rented to out of town aerospace workers. It is convenient to a public library, restaurants, river, bay, etc. Mobile is the secret of the South. There are things to see and do but the best attraction is it's friendly people.

I need help with various projects around the house. I'm trying to learn Spanish also so any help there would be great. There is plenty of remodeling work to do along with some general maintenance of the grounds. I need someone with a creative mind and good aptitude for remodeling with the ability and willingness to work on their own and as a team member. A private room w/WiFi, cable and shared bathroom will be provided. I am happy to share the food I have with you. I am TEFL Certified and can help you with your English if needed. I am also a Certified Flight Instructor so I am happy to teach you a lot about aviation. I... more inside

(POSITION NOW FILLED!) CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR...one or two people to come stay beginning around June 12-14 for a few days of acclamation and 'training' before the whole C. We would be trusting you with our gardens, animals, and land. This is our life, y'all! If you think you can milk a goat or two (and drink the milk!), weed, water, and handle general unexpected things with moderate competence while we are away, you could be the one! You would be staying in the cute little cabin and have access to kitchen and all :) Call us! 828 two zero six 1487
