We need helpers november, december, janaury and febreury

Our rustic Hostel is in the middle of Patagonia in a nice mid-size town called Esquel. We have close-by Ski-Area and the National Park Los Alerces. You can do a couple of half-day hikes right from the Hostel. But besides that Esquel is in a rather remote area.

The job we require you to do is helping us out at reception (reservations, checkin/checkout, help out washing and folding of linens, basic cleaning...). You should therefore have basic Spanish skills which you would like to improve! We provide you with accommodation, breackfast, laundry, wifi and other services of the hostel. The biggest advantage you get is that you get a fantastic life experience in a real Argentinean environment working together with locals (and actually being part of the family). You get to know the culture (Mate, Asado, ...) and the way of thinking and living like you never will if you are just travelling.

Minimal duration of stay: 1 or 2 MO... more inside

My mother and I live in a 4 hectar ranch in the rural area of Vicente Casares, a little town in Cañuelas. It´s 50 km from the capital of Buenos Aires, which is easy to reach by bus. We also have one cow, 30 chickens with chicks, three ducks and two geese that live free in the ranch. There are also 4 dogs and 4 cats.
We offer a beautiful home for the volunteers with three bedrooms, a living room with a fire place, kitchen, bathroom and a patio with grill. The use of the main swimming pool is also available. We are reciclyng and re-imagining a family-owned farm as self-sustainable, while maintaining the spirit and tradition of the land. Located just 3km from the beach, the farm boasts a towering Eucalyptus woods, a ‘laguna’ playing host to a plethora of wildlife including capybaras and flamingos.

You will have the opportunity to help in gardening, working on existing projects, and sharing whatever passion you are discovering or already possess. We live as a community, this entails you should help keep-up of the living space and cooking if you feel inspired.

- After many years of abandonment and overgrown, the farm is under recycling process; so we need your help for clean, cut, move, fix, pruning, painting and all kind of improvement chores.
- Spring is coming, we need help to cut weeds, prepare the soil and sow.
- We need a lot firewood cut, someone with chainsaw or axe experience?
- We want to recycle the restroom; change pipes and design/install a firewood water-heater.

A COUNTRY LIFE REFUGE FOR TRAVELLERS.

This is a cattle and agriculture ranch/farm.

The farm objective is to be self sustained. We already are in terms of water and partially of food, and we are working towards energy independence. All work is related to these objectives. We don't profit from volunteers' work and everything we do is to make our lives and of future volunteers' lives more comfortable, more enjoyable, healthier and safer.

The ranch objective is to develop an echo friendly business to financially sustain the farm.

A 4 hour bus drive from Buenos Aires, 3 from Santa Fé/Paraná, two from Rosario, 2 hours from Fray Bentos, Uruguay, an hour from Gualeguaychú and 20 minutes from Urdinarrain. It is also 40 minutes away from Route 14, connecting Buenos Aires and Iguazú.

The building was made mostly from recycled old materials over twelve years ago. The style is a bit of a ranch, a bit of a loft, a bit of a (free) hostel.

Couchsurfers, motorbikers, travellers, he... more inside

Welcome home to ”violet forrest” in beautiful nature countryside beside the river. I am in creation of a place with bioconstruction and permaculture methods. It is the living space for me and my two suns but also for my dedication that is healing and spiritual growth. My house is made with mud and straw and we use dry toilets.
Right now I offer you to stay at a little cabin apart of my house. It is one room with about 20 Squaremeters. There is electricity, a water conection and a dry toilet. Close to my house you can profite from wifi! The walls need to be improved but its already a private space inside that for summertime is good enough. I have a gas cooker, dishes, pots...so that you can cook for yourself because food is not included! There are mattresses for your use.
In exchange I would ask for about 3 hours work daily. If you bring your own tent I ask for 2 hours work daily. There are lots of things to do: Putting more earth on the roof, putting mud with straw at the walls, ... more inside
