THE PROJECT
==============

I'm starting an organic little garden... I would like to use compost that I make with grass. I need help for:
- Raking and collecting grass and leaves
- Collecting the branches
- Pulling weeds

Typically I work in the garden 2 to 3 days per week, except the wednesday and the week-end.

==============
ME
==============

My name's Patrick and I'm 34. I'm at the beginning a great adventure towards a simpler way of life and with the maximum of autonomy! First step: feed myself!! My sources of inspiration: Julien WOLGA and Pierre RABHI.

ACCOMMODATION
==============

I can only consider bookings for the next 3 weeks from the current date.

I do not live on the land. I live at Ducos, at 15min driving.

I can host 2 helpers in the studio I live in, only for short stays (2-6 nights), but if we get along well, the stay can be extended to several weeks or months. There are one room with kitchen, a little ... more inside

We started our farm in Martinique seven years ago.

US :

Tommaso is agronomist, he grew up in Italy and worked in several African countries before arriving on this little island. Celine, an agriculture historian, grew up in Martinique and came back to make her dream of an organic farm come true.
We both had the opportunity to take a Permaculture Design Course (PDC) in Pai, Thailand, that inspired us a lot.
Macabou, Celine's parents land, offered us the opportunity to start this adventure.
The land is quite steep and is surrounded by a beautiful forest. In the middle of the forest a lake and beyond, the sea.

THE PROJECT :

The project takes shape. Many ideas are floating in our minds and step by step find their way on the land. At the same time we learn how to realize dreams.

A hudge orchard is growing and expanding presenting a high diversity of tropical fruits. Diversity and catastrophe resilience are our main goals. We expect to build a tropical food forest, he... more inside

HELP HELP HELP
Hello. First connection on internet in town, very slow, but connected after 5 weeks :).
And now, after 3 months it's still very slow in my place, so, sorry for the delay in response.
Dominica completely destroyed, but we will survive. Tikaz is ok (water, electricity ... Tikaz was built for stand alone use :) ). Garden destroyed, your help is welcome.

Hi, I'm Thierry. I live at the end of the world in Dominica (Commonwealth). My property is not too far from the beach with a large garden.
I would like to create a dry forest botanic garden and also an organic vegetable garden.
This Ecolodge is using solar electricity and harvesting of rain water.
I'm looking for volunteers to help with these projects, but also to assist in building the lodge.

There is gardening, landscaping, concrete, gardening, carpentry, tiling, gardening, electrical, painting, gardening, plumbing, swimming pool, diving, long chair, gardening, hammock, (the kitchen I often reserve except... more inside

We recently purchased a 16 acre farm in Las Maria's Puerto Rico with a river running through it and a beautiful swimming hole and mini-waterfall. We are a family of 4, 2 baby girls and my wife and I.

The property has 2 homes on it, a 3/2 and a 1/1. We need help fixing up the 1/1 where our Airbnb guests will stay. We also need help clearing the land, helping build mini-bamboo huts and planting/maintainig various kinds of tropical fruits and vegetables. 2-4 hours a day, 4-5 days a week is all we need and the rest of the day can be spent as you like, hiking, swimming and exploring our property and neighboring areas, mountains, rivers, streams and waterfalls.

Our property is in a retreat setting and it will hopefully be the most relaxing time you can ever spend with nature as you hear the sound of the river and experience the beauty of our exotic birds and plant-life.

Here is a video of Las Maria's Puerto Rico..
