Looking for anyone who wants to come chill and get away in a beautiful home in the beautiful hills of St. Ann Jamaica, who is also willing to work!
We are trying to get a small organic farm project going, as well as have a larger property that we can use all the hands we can get to help with.
We are also in the process of building a little bar by our house, so this is something we could use some help with as well.
While we would love to be able to fund your entire stay, light and water are quite expensive in Jamaica, so we do ask for guests to chip in about $12 a week for their time here. In order to get this rate, you would need to stay at least a week, and be willing to work during that week.
Also, if you just want an awesome place to crash and relax, that is an option as well. For this I ask $10 a day.
Looking forward to meeting you! Please feel free to contact me with questions, or to negotiate :)

My property is sitting on 4 acres of garden, very peaceful. We have an organic garden, pig, bordered by a river and two ravines and is situated in the middle of section 5 of the Dominica's Waitukubuli trail, 45mins from the capital Roseau and a mile and a half from the village of Castle Bruce. To get to the sea is a healthy 25 mins walk. Wireless access to the internet available if you bring your laptop.
Take a 6-10 minute bus ride to the Emerald Pool. The Emerald pool is one of Dominica's most photogenic destination. Only 15-20 mins to the other direction is the kalinago territory which is most commonly known as the Carib Territory. The Kalinago Territory is well known for their basketry skills, that have been passed down through the generations.
This is truly a nature paradise for every level of hikers. Waitukubuli National trail is the only long distance trail in the entire Caribbean consisting of 14 segments ranging in difficulty. The entire distance is 115 mile hike wi...

We started our farm in Martinique two years ago.
Tommaso is agronomist, he grew up in Italy and worked in several African countries before arriving on this little island. Celine, an agriculture historian, grew up in Martinique and came back to make her dream of an organic farm come true.
We both had the opportunity to take a Permaculture Design Course (PDC) in Pai, Thailand, that inspired us a lot.
Macabou, Celine's parents land, offered us the opportunity to start this adventure. The land is quite steep and is surrounded by a beautiful forest. In the middle of the forest a lake and beyond, the sea.
The project takes shape. Many ideas are floating in our minds and step by step find their way on the land. At the same time we learn how to realize dreams.
A hudge orchard is growing and expanding presenting a high diversity of tropical fruits. Diversity and catastrophe resilience are our main goals. We expect to build a tropical food forest, here, which would survive ...

I am looking for any help with getting my organic herb farm/garden started in the beautiful hills of Sunny Jamaica. Looking for anyone with any gardening knowledge or experience, but welcome any and all who want to come and be a part of this nascent project. We are clearing land (can't do enough weeding up here!), creating beds, planting, and trying to learn as we go You would be staying in my home. Very flexible with the amount of hours that you need to put in. Just would love some energy and support! Lots of great time to explore real Jamaica, meet locals (plenty of dive bars in the community below my neighborhood...one of which I own with some friends!), take nature hikes, lay in the hammock, play with the dogs...The house is only 20 minutes away from Bob Marley's birthplace, Ocho Rios and beaches! I only ask that helpers pay a very small fee ($5 per day) while they are here to help with the exorbitant light and water prices on the Island, and ($5 per day) to help cover meals if...

Hi there,
I'm Dennis, i live in the tiny island of Mayreau in St Vincent and the Grenadines. I'm the owner and manager of a beautiful guest house bar and restaurant. I'm located on the top of a hill with a gorgeous view of the ocean and west of union island. Mayreau is close to the tobago cays between Canouan island and union island. There is a good ferry service to join the other island ( Union island, Canouan, Bequia and St Vincent the main island) and you can easily find a boat to go to the beautiful tobago cays. I have internet access and computers, wi-fi too so you can bring your lap top if you want.
I'm looking for 1 people to help me around in the property (help in the restaurant, in the rooms, in the garden). I would like somebody with hospitality, very friendly, smiling and honest. I prefer somebody who speak and understand English but it is not perfect you will learn. The working time during the day will be flexible (4 or 8 hrs per day) with one day off a week....

My husband and I purchased a small boutique cottage resort in July 2012 and need assistance in management and daily operations; including launching a vegetarian restaurant (primarily serving just guests currently), cooking, cleaning, recreational rentals of jetskis (eventually-these are in need of a mechanic), scooters, kayaks, mountain bikes). We also want to be able to consistently offer yoga and massage and would welcome visiting therapists and instructors. Need folks with resort management, health and wellness certifications, vegetarian cooking, and general housekeeping and landscape maintenance.
In addition, we need a couple of outbuilding constructed and REALLY need to find a mechanic that can work on jetskis and a Mitsubishi Lancer.
We also have 2 lush acres of organic farmland about 10 minutes away that we need help cultivating for providing vegetables and fruits to the restaurant-mango, avocado, papaya, guava, five finger, cherry, bread fruit, sugar apple, orange,...
