We are looking for volunteers in our backpackers hostel to be part of the family for a while. Meeting new people? Practice or learn Spanish? Knowing different cultures? Surf? This is the right place for you.

We are always looking for nice, enthusiastic people to become part of the community. We believe a minimum stay of at least month is necessary to really embrace the experience of our surf hostel.

We are 3 minutes to Ayampe, 25 minutes north of Montañita and 15 minutes south of Puerto Lopez. We have 6 bungalows in a cozy atmosphere. We organize Whale watching (June to September), Bird watching, Snorkeling, Scuba diving, Paragliding, Hiking, Trekking, Horse riding and Surf lessons. Also this is a great Surf spot for all levels of experience, beginners to advanced surfers. We offer free surf lessons for our volunteers.

I fell in love with beautiful Mompiche, moved here and started to build my dream house. It is a five story bamboo house, built like a wedding cake. The top floor has a spectacular 360 degree view, with views from the shower and the toilet too!
Mompiche is a quant fishing village with a pristine 40 mile crescent moon bay. From October to April there are world-class waves, attracting surfers from around the world. It is surrounded by jungle with monkeys and tons of birds, including toucans and parrots.
I am a masseuse from Esselen, Big Sur, California with 40 years of experience. I offer messages for $15 for a half an hour and $25 for an hour.
Chocolate making is available. Tours of the jungle and yoga can be arranged.
I am charging $10 a week for all the bottled water you can drink and a bed in my dream house.
I also offer 5 breakfasts and 5 dinners for $30.
Here is an example of the menu.

We are creating a space to reconnect with the natural world around us for like minded and experimenting with tropical alternative farming.. You can call it a farm, an edible forest or a micro community, a self-healing space or simply a place to live better.Dont expect a typical permaculture farm. We try to live in a different way to make an original, useful and real experience. We are learning to live with a higher consciousness and general respect and to share our ideas with other beautiful people who have a similar take on life. This family-like farm is situated where the misty mountains meet the Amazon. The project is made up of 2 farms within 2 miles of eachother. The smaller one is located on the big Napo river beach and has 1 hec. (2.5 acres) of permaculture, edible forest and gardens along with a wide variety of private cabins (also for rent!!). The upper farm has 23 hec. (57 acres) of protected rainforest sitting on an open cliff with breathtaking mountain-river views. On th... more inside

BABYSITTING in beautiful city of Cuenca — in full, Santa Ana de los cuatro ríos de Cuenca — the capital of the Azuay Province. It is widely regarded as the most European city in the country of Ecuador due to its highly 16th and 17th century era Spanish colonial architecture resembling to cities and architecture throughout Spain. The city of Cuenca is located in the highlands of Ecuador at about 2,560 metres (8,300 feet) above sea level, with an urban population of over 600,000 rising to 700,000 inhabitants in the larger metro area. The centre of the city is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Trust site due to its many historical buildings. Cuenca is well known for its stunning architecture, tourist attractions and night activities.

Hola, we are a "quite normal", easy going family (I am a queer friendly Bi), a cosmopolitan couple with a 5 years old, rather ACTIVE daughter. We live in a comfortable house in a calm, safe suburb of Cuenca. Nearby there is a large shopping center Mall ... more inside

We are a holistic permaculture farm focusing on a sustainable lifestyle by growing and cooking our own organic foods!

In our climate almost everything grows. Just to give you and idea from Coconuts to Cocoa/cacao, Soursop, Jackfruit, Babaco, Breadfruit, Passion-fruit, etc. We (Swiss & French couple) started in March 2016 building our Non-Profit Organization with the philosophy of permaculture.

First off we are not super humans. We are just a very focused and dedicated family with the clear and simple goal of a healthy lifestyle including food and environment.

Questions You Have To Ask Yourself
Are you ready and willing to adapt to our rhythm of life in the tropics on our fruit farm? Are you ready for a new different reality to what you are most likely used to? Can you adapt your habits? Are you a fast learner?

Be sure to agree to all PermaTree living agreements BEFORE arriving. https://goo.gl/kxjUKq

Greetings,

We have a fun and eclectic guesthouse directly on the beach in Santa Marianita. We are located 20 minutes south of Manta. Santa Marianita beach is long, sandy and safe to walk day or night. This is not a party beach and is very quiet on weekdays. Weekends and holidays can be noisy. It is well known for kite surfing.

Our volunteer shifts are 5 hours, 5 days per week with two days each week off to explore and enjoy this wonderful area in Ecuador. We prefer a commitment of three weeks or longer. The hours covered are 7:00 AM until 9:00 PM. Duties include cleaning, helping in the cafe, caring for cats and dogs, helping with light maintenance, greeting and assisting guests with their luggage, and various improvement projects.

We are seeking outgoing, energetic, low drama and drug-free volunteers who love animals, are ready to work hard with a smile and have fun meeting people from all over the world. Our helpful friendly volunteers along with the company ... more inside

San Bartolo of Uchuculin is a small rural Kichwa community, 25 minutes from the city of Tena, Napo at the edge of Llanganates National Park !

There are several projects that the families need help with right now, such as building a traditional style house in the jungle, cultivating cocoa, yuca, pineapple and maze crops.
There is no set program, volunteers can bring their own projects related to their professions and areas of interest, and according to the needs of the community. There is also the opportunity to teach English in a local rural school.

It is the hope of the community that volunteers participate in community activities and daily life. This is more of a cultural exchange and a real chance to experience Kichwa Community life from learning to speak Kichwa, cook typical food, build a knowledge about medicinal plants and to make typically jewellery from natural fibres and seeds.

During the week is when the volunteers will work. During the weekend they have an oppor... more inside
