I fell in love with beautiful Mompiche, moved here and started to build my dream house. It is a five story bamboo house, built like a wedding cake. The top floor has a spectacular 360 degree view, with views from the shower and the toilet too!
Mompiche is a quaint fishing village with a pristine 40 mile crescent moon bay. From October to April there are world-class waves, attracting surfers from around the world. It is surrounded by jungle with monkeys and tons of birds, including toucans and parrots.
I am a masseuse from Esselen, Big Sur, California with 40 years of experience.
Chocolate making, basket weaving, and coconut cracking classes are available. Tours of the jungle and yoga can be arranged. You can explore the incredible surrounding area on foot or in kayaks, on horseback, or on a motor boat.

I am charging $10 a week for bottled water and a bed in my dream house. I offer 5 breakfasts and 5 dinners for $30. I only ask for 15 hours of work a week. By the way I am a ve... more inside

Description

The volunteer house is available for new volunteers from December 26 onwards...Thank you!

San Bartolo of Uchuculin is a small rural Kichwa community, 25 minutes from the city of Tena, Napo at the edge of Llanganates National Park.!!!

There are several projects that the families need help with right now, such as building a traditional style house in the jungle and cultivating cocoa, yuca, pineapple and maize crops.
There is no set program, volunteers can bring their own projects related to their professions and areas of interest, and according to the needs of the community. There is also the opportunity to teach English in a local rural school.

It is the hope of the community that volunteers participate in community activities and daily life. This is more of a cultural exchange and a real chance to experience Kichwa Community life from learning to speak Kichwa, cook typical food, build a knowledge about medicinal plants and to make typical jewellery from natural fibres and seeds.

During the week is when the volunteers will work. During the weekend they have an o... more inside

Quito offers a lot of activities for your leisure time. Explore the Historical Center, take the cable car and enjoy a fantastic view of the city, make a day trip to Cotopaxi, or visit the equator line at Mitad del Mundo.

Greetings,

We have a fun and eclectic guesthouse directly on the beach in Santa Marianita. We are located 20 minutes I south of Manta. Santa Marianita beach is long, sandy and safe to walk day or night. This is not a party beach and is very quiet on weekdays. Weekends and holidays can be noisy. It is well known for kite surfing.

Our volunteers are asked to help 5 hours, 5 days per week with two days each week off to explore and enjoy this wonderful area in Ecuador. We prefer a commitment of one month or longer.
