We are the proud owners of a gorgeous four hectare land lot directly on Panama’s Caribbean coastline. There is plenty of garden work and housekeeping. We have an incredible tropical garden connected to a lush mangrove with hundreds of different species growing. It’s a botanist’s dream come true. The icing on the cake is the visiting packs of Geoffrey’s Cappucin and howler monkeys, as well as toucans, and sloths. Two loving dogs also live on the property.

There is plenty of of work for everyone: From physical work cleaning the beach and working on the gardens, to painting and housekeeping.

The house overlooks the Caribbean Sea from a beautiful highpoint. All you have to do is take the steps to the beach!

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING VERY CAREFULLY:
We receive a lot of applications so make note of what You Need and what is Required of You with what we have informed of below.

My name is Johanna.
Ten years ago I emigrated from Austria to Panama.
I purchased a 50 hectare chocolate farm on the island of San Cristobal in Bocas Del Toro Panama.
The front portion of my property was mainly overgrown jungle and wetland. Of which I dried out by digging various streams and ponds.
The result was that of an ecological farm.
It has allowed me to live a self-sustainable lifestyle.
My goal was to build a new life far away from the materialistic driven world that I used to live in.
And I have realized this goal.

So…
If you’re interested in working hard and smart I am providing to the right people, to serious people, an opportunity to learn to live sustainably, in harmony with nature, and the prospect to become a part of something Bigger.

Hibiscus Garden is a remote Hotel Resort on the wild, pacific coast of Panama. Owned and operated by a vibrant mix of young internationals and ambitious locals, we are located just outside of Santa Catalina, a trending fisherman's village internationally known for its amazing surf conditions. To Playa Lagartero we have direct access from the Resort grounds and Playa Estero in Santa Catalina, perfect for surfing, is only a 10 minute car or bus ride away.

At the time we have 9 operating accommodation units, hosting between two and four guests each. One of our main attractions is the garden that spreads spacious between the different buildings. Through our palm tree Garden we have direct beach access. As Playa Lagartero is located in a bay-like setting it's the perfect spot for a proper swim in the warm waters of the central Pacific!
