We are located 19 km north of Playa del Carmen (15-20 minutes by car or bus), 7 km south of Puerto Morelos (10-15 minutes by car or bus), and 37 km south of Cancun International Airport, (30 minutes by bus). There is bus transportation to and from Cancun, Puerto Morelos or Playa del Carmen on the main highway, 5am-12am every day, even Sundays. The waiting time is 20-25 minutes.
The little Rustic ambiance farm is about 1 km west of the main highway. It is located within the jungle and has a friendly, rustic ambiance. We started our project in 2009. We grow organic vegetables and are in the process of planting fruit trees. We raise birds, chickens, geese, turkeys and fish. We also have some very nice and friendly dogs that we have rescued from the street and from ex-owners abuse. We find homes for them after they have been spayed and neutered. Very often we see wild monkeys in the trees. We have a small cabana with all the basic services that are available to share. We provide veg...

The intention of this place is many-fold. It is to a be a vehicle for healing, learning and communion. A place with a peaceful, calm ambiance which helps provide a space to "go within". Among the main values held and which are thus, when possible given room within the structure are:
Open and authentic communication. Care with diet including emphasizing giving and discovering what the body actually needs, with an emphasis on vegan kitchen, unprocessed/non-pasturized foods, sprouting, live foods and organic when possible. One of the main goals thus is to grow and build a vibrant and abundant garden. Spiritual practice involving modalities including but not limited to Hatha Yoga, sitting meditation, singing/chanting. Sound Healing with Tibetan singing bowls (we have a set of 6 bowls). Inspiring and educational audio lectures by some of the world's cutting edge voices. Sorry, I´m living in Guadalajara and I work as engineer so I dont have much time. We are 4 engineers in the house and we work all day.
If you want you could stay in the House in Guadalajara in the week and help cleaning the house, and on weekends we could go to the waterpark and work there...
We dont have beds, actually I sleep in the floor, but you are welcome, and if you bring your sleeping bag, would be great.
THIS WORK WOULD BE ON WEEKENDS PICTURES ARE ONLY FROM THE WATERPARK.
Works like cleaning, mop, sweep, painting, computer works, construction, etc...25 hour per week would be perfect, we are flexible. You will have your 3 meals (all the meals that a single man can cook and beers, and of course you can cook for yourself and for me if you want)and a good place to sleep in the house.
We have 3 little dogs but they are always outside, they are not allowed to be inside of the house. If you smoke is fine but have to be outside, I smoke sometimes too.
I'm a h...

We are a family of 5 living in a beautiful mountainside location in the outskirts of San Cristóbal de Las Casas, in the highlands of Chiapas, in southern México.
San Cristóbal was founded in 1528 which makes it one of the oldest towns in all Latin America, it is one of the cultural and tourism capitals of our country and was awarded "Most Magical Town of México" in 2010.
The town is a renowned tourist destination due to its traditions, colonial architecture, its rich history and as being the birthplace of the Zapatista rebellion of 1994, among many other things.
There are plenty of things for helpers to do on their free time -- museums, hiking, language courses, dance classes, yoga lessons, horseback riding, rock climbing, river rafting, trips to the jungle -- you name it! Not to mention all the bars and clubs, concerts, live music, theatre and all sorts of cultural and social activities.
There are public transport vans a short walk away which take you downtown in 20 min...

Situated in Mayto, Mexico, on the Pacific two hours south of Puerto Vallarta, this is a working, organic ranch, off-grid campground, and growing sustainability center. We create electricity, plus heat, pump and recycle water using the power of the sun! We have chickens, horses, two mischievous burros, an equally mischievous dog, and a rollicking herd of happy goats from which we produce artisanal cheeses for sale in nearby Puerto Vallarta. We build with adobe, compressed earthblock, stone, and other natural, locally sourced building materials. We have recently joined with the nearby University of Guadalajara Turtle Research Camp to launch a regional plastics recycling program. We are an integral, well respected, and welcome part of the local community.
Current projects (spring summer 2013) include beginning our first PERMACULTURE FOOD FOREST and finish build-out of a compressed earth block guest house built to provide comfortable housing for our helpers, interns and other travele...
