The project is a conservation area of 132 hectares (100 of primary rain forest and 32 for multiple use) that will be preserved at its best conditions, inspired by the love of the pachamama and to future generations, devoting our lives to protect this delicate ecosystem.
We try to demonstrate that the proper use of the forest can become sustainable and profitable through ecotourism and the use of medicinal plants.
In Bahuaja project we have started a project that we believe can help to stop this debacle: BAMBOO PROJECT. Bamboo is a magical plant. Its easy adaptation to different environments, its rapid growth and its numerous uses, make it one of the most unique and amazing stories of our planet.

We are a a small non-profit organization located in the low income district of La Esperanza in Trujillo, Peru our mission is to improve the quality of children's life trough education and help dogs from the streets. Currently we have two projects running. the dogshelter and teaching english program.

TEACHING ENGLISH PROGRAM

Because public education in Peru significantly lacks funding, and the majority of the community cannot afford private schooling, the members of our community have very few opportunities for education. Thus, children are born into poverty and few are ever able to rise up and become empowered. Recognizing that many members of La Esperanza are born into this type of poverty and have few job opportunities, our organization's founders decided to broaden the horizons of our friends and neighbors through providing education.

There is no greater freedom than knowledge. This belief defines the philosophy at our organization which offers English classes complete... more inside

This is a youth soccer academy, here in Huanchaco beach, Peru, for boys aged 7 to 16. The main goal of the club is to develop and place young talents on the U17 Peru National Team. The players are selected for their talent to form an elite team. The long-term plan is to help develop the players so that they can become professional players and play at the highest level. As well as focusing on technical development, we place great emphasis on inculcating them with positive values. We believe that being a good person is as important as being a good soccer player and that these skills can help them overcome the situations that they are often presented with. This is one of the major reasons why we are seeking volunteers. By creating a positive environment, our players can thrive. The success of this approach can be seen by the fact that the majority of our first generation of players (1998/99) are now playing at both the national and international level.

The academy is located in Hua... more inside
