We operate a day center for young people (ages 5-18+) with learning disabilities. Our project allows us to offer educational and recreational opportunities to young adults who have been denied access to mainstream schools because of their learning difficulties.

* Volunteers will be providing classroom support to our students. This will include academics (literacy and numeracy), life skills, and leisure activities. Volunteers will be expected to engage with children in all aspects of their day, including helping with mealtimes and accompanying students and staff on outings. We are also anxious for our volunteers to teach new skills to our students.

INTRODUCTION
Sirigu is the actual village for Helpers to come and work. It is about 22km north from the regional capital which is Bolga. 9,000 people with social amenities such as clinic, Senior High School, Basic schools, PoLice Station, tourist centre, and government and NGOs offices. It is a lovely place to live.

This is a newly established school for Organic Farming that requires well experienced organic farmers or students wishing to volunteer abroad such as Ghana to perform the following activities in a temporal manner: -

We are a small and growing eco village at the base of the Wli Falls in the Volta Region of Ghana. We are off the grid and about 20 minutes east of Hoehoe, Ghana. We are looking for help building huts, landscaping, and working with the local village kids. We are close to the Monkey Sanctuary, Mountain Paradise and other must see places in the Volta Region.

My family has a house with free rooms for homestays to helpX travelers from any part part of the world. It is a modern house with basic facilities including water, and electricity. I stayed in the USA for my graduate course and just returned to Ghana with my family. We do not expect any fixed hours of help from our helpers/visitors. We provide help to needy rural school children and their deprived communities. We expect our visitors to help us help these kids. A visitor may choose from a wide range of activities and projects. These include but not limited to teaching the kids art, personal hygiene, organic gardening, computing skills, dancing, English reading, football, or any subject. Visitors may also choose to work on a project aimed at putting shoes on the feet of many needy children who come to school bare footed.
