OUR PROJECT TITLE
Support/help us with sustainable education development for our children's future in Sanawari village.

DESCRIPTION

We believe that a child’s future success and advancement in life is greatly influenced by their early educational experience as those who have go to school early develop an interest in education more than those who have not participated in early learning education – learning how to get along in groups, work under teacher supervision, etc. They also receive encouragement to express their feelings and ideas through building, dancing, and drawing, playing, singing and speaking. And thus, at the end of their pre-school years, they have become more competent pupils and will be more advanced in some of their abilities and be ready to master their new environment in primary and secondary education. We are located at Sanawari village -Arusha.

We hope that through volunteers support we can save and give lighter through education to our children for f... more inside

We are a very dynamic organization based in Ilboru Arusha. Our aim is to bring people from different backgrounds together to build a quality education system for children in primary schools all around Arusha. We believe that through education we can build a brighter future for our next generation.

We are looking for volunteers to support our schools around Ilboru. In primary schools, the focus lies on improving the English skills of young children from the age of 3 to 13, so that they can progress on to secondary school. Children in primary schools usually speak very little English, so volunteers need to be able to connect with them using simple teaching methods.

Along teaching English, volunteers in primary schools can implement other activities into the daily timetable to engage the young minds in creative ways through role-playing, arts and crafts or taking part in stimulating learning games.
In secondary schools, in addition to improving the standard of spoken and written ... more inside

Visiwani Library is the library which gives access to all people around the community to use the library where just Volunteers and travelers stay and teach to the children of our community. At the Library you can teach the children the very basics of English or other matter you know like math, painting, English, music, games, sports or ... whatever you think makes sense! Volunteers have to organize their lessons totally by themselves. The volunteers also organize outdoor activities or arts and crafts for the children during break time.

This Lodge started up in December 2015 and is for the moment nicley up running (see www.panganicliffs.com). At present we could need some help from a good/profetional Car Mechanics. We have one Canter truck 2tonner tipper, an old 4WD Land Cruiser, and a few motorbikes, some generator and water pumps that could need check ups and repairs. Thus, if you would like to combine a holiday with some mechanical support to our lodge you will be most welcome. We can offer you free accommodation + food, and would then expect an average of 4 working hours per day (which could be flexible in relation to peaks, low seasons and the volunteer's wishes/priorities) - you may bring one person with you with whom you will share one room - this person will have free accomodation and only pay for his/her meals and drinks. If this sounds tempting, please contact us for a deal..
