Established 2006, this is a privately run Animal Sanctuary that was set up to rescue dogs from cruelty, neglect and abandonment. The Wildlife live undisturbed in the mountain and the Sanctuary below is home to 225 dogs, 23 cats and 7 live in Filipino carers to look after them.
Your stay in our comfortable sanctuary house is free - all meals, wifi, sat tv, are included, in return we ask for a min 7 hours a day ( 6 days a week ) help with the sanctuary dogs ~ walking ~ feeding ~ cleaning washing and playing with them, going to the market etc - If you have other skills like animal care, veterinary, construction, elec - plunbing etc- Animal welfare > visits to local schools, take a dog, and help educate them about keeping pets, all will add to the enjoyment of your stay with us.
