Hello! Come and join us in Legazpi City and help us create a green eco-oasis in the middle of the city. We build with natural materials, bamboo, wood and rock and our current project involves building a tree house with zip line running down to the main huts (kubo in Filipino).

Our goal is to show the Philippines and rest of the world how easily an environmentaly driven project can be created and how the local community can benefit from nature and the materials it provides.

We are a fun loving group of individuals. We work hard and we love to play. Take time off to visit the waterfalls, volcano, hot springs as beaches in the area and enjoy interacting with locals to see the real Philippines.

We are already operational and charge our paying guests 350 a night, excluding meals. If you stay on a volunteer basis, we ask a fee of 200 pesos per night for food and board, that's less than 4 Euro per day and you will be contributing to an awesome project.

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to look at our volunteer opportunities.

ABOUT US:
Our home is a place to connect with nature and within yourself. Our aim is to provide an area which is deeply connected to the elements and spiritual atmosphere.

The land is owned by Prescilla who was born in the Philippines but has been living in America and various other places in the world and JP who is American but has lived in the Philippines for the past year.

WHAT WE REQUIRE:
- We have 5 hectares of land which needs maintaining; weeding, watering and grass cutting as well as small amounts of building work and DIY repair.

On our Farm we practice organic farming with different permaculture aspects as well as spiritual practices.
Both have to go hand in hand to provide a harmonious living in respect with mother nature and our co-inhabitants.
We do daily regular meditations and Yoga if possible. We expect our helpers to join and participate. Basically, to show an interest in ones own spiritual development.
Some dogs, a cat chicken and a rabbit give us company and need some care taking as well.

We are still a small family consisting of a Swiss/Philippino couple with two baby boys, one is 9years old and the other a just few months. We are also interested to extend our community to a bigger one with similar minded people.

Life is still simple on our Farm, such as outdoor compost toilet and shower, until we have finished our indoor versions.
We have dogs, cats, chicken and a rabbit. If you have any allergies or aversions, please clear details before applying for a stay.

Experience life in the remote village of Supo, Abra in the mountains on the island of Luzon in the Philippines. McTery is a 13-year-old boy who needs tutoring, specifically in learning to read. He attends school but needs more specific instruction in reading in order to catch up with his peers.

I am a middle school teacher from the US and tutored McTery for one month while he was living at another location in the Philippines. I traveled with him to the village of Supo and stayed with his grandparents for a short time. I am hoping to support McTery in his quest to learn how to read but resources are limited in the village. That is why I have set up this Helpx page, to seek international volunteers who would like to experience a rural village while tutoring McTery. I am in touch with McTery's aunt and she has discussed this arrangement with the family. They have agreed to it and are grateful for any help they can receive in helping McTery learn how to read.

Come and join us at our farm and expand your Philippine experience in a unique way.

If you want to experience a healthy lifestyle - great organic food from our gardens and farm - clean air - close to nature and the beach and learn about organics and healthy living and eating you will be in the right place.

From early 2014 we changed our work arrangement to a casual one so that our guests can be more relaxed and work as they feel or have the energy. To support this and allow us to continue providing great vegi organic meals and good accommodation, we implemented a casual work arrangement (work as you please - no fixed hours)

To accommodate this we implemented a nominal charge of 700 pesos per person per night to cover food and accommodation. Since implementing this our guests have all appreciated the flexibility they have. Now no one feels stressed if they find it too hot to work or need to rest and recoup from travelling in a natural healthy environment.

Sustainable Farming Warriors Wanted: Be Bold And Take The Challenge
To believe is to advocate. Our farm is built around the indigenous farming principles taught us by our forefathers. Partake in all the life giving gifts the land could give you but make sure you leave the environment unharmed. Do not get more than you could give the land back. Take care of the land and the land will take care of you.

If you believe in these principles and are interested to live out how we make these principles alive in our day to day work in the farm, you are most welcome to join us. Immerse yourself in an interactive experience with our indigenous farmers as they show you their knowledge of organic farming and other sustainable farming practices. And yes, see for yourself how they integrate into these practices the conservation of the local flora and fauna. But as you learn from them, they must also be learning from you. It would be great if you could leave your imprints behind. But as import... more inside

ABOUT US...

Hello. My name is Rye . My wife Tina and I are former backpackers and travellers that decided to build a gazebo hammock hostel in Puerto Princesa, Palawan.

-----
My wife is a language teacher (to NGO workers in Palawan) and I am a university professor. We would welcome help and we also would like to interact with fellow travellers.

As for me, I loved living in other countries which led me to teach English in Colombia and Brazil. Living one year in Medellin and one year in Sao Paulo, I speak fluent Spanish and Portuguese -- hablo espanol y portugues como un nativo :)

I studied in Los Angeles for two years (middle school) and worked there as an adult for 3 years. (My English is American. Basically I have native level proficiency in 4 languages.)

From 2012 to 2015 my wife and I also worked in my family's small family business in Cambodia, which enabled us to travel to neighboring Vietnam and Thailand often. We were ... more inside

We have a homey seaside guesthouse with 3 private rooms and 2 dorm rooms with a total of 9 beds. We also operate a kayak and overnight camping business to the surrounding islands of El Nido.

We need someone to work at our booking office where we rent kayaks and SUP boards on a daily basis and take bookings for daily island hopping tours and my multi day kayak camping tours.

Our busy season is from November to end of April; help would be appreciated for a MINIMUM OF 3 MONTHS anytime during the year. In return, a dorm bed and breakfast per day will be provided, plus a commission for bookings taken, and plenty of free time during the day.
We also need someone to act as receptionist and light housekeeping for times when my wife and I are away.
Sorry, but smokers and those that are looking for a place to party every night need not apply.
Thank you and I look forward to hearing from serious applicants.

Building a kitesurfing nature resort half way between El Nido and Coron. Already got two kiteboards which volunteers can rent for 1000p per day each. Also have small boat you can rent for half price of 250p per day as a kayak. Surrounded by lovely little islands, excellent snorkeling in the clearest waters in the world, sometimes big turtles spotted just offshore. Badminton, volleyball and basketball available in amongst the coconut trees.
Can organise local island hopping tours fairly cheaply, around 1000p per boat, explore caves, diving available, fishing. I have fishing gear and you can rent our little boat if you want to give it a try - ocean totally teaming.

I have many musical instruments so welcome musicians for evening entertainment around the campfire.

I'm on a small island with a community of about 50 people, half of which are children, spread out across the island. Easy walk to the other side.

Tents only for now, but most have a mattress, pillow and sheets, a... more inside
