Now after a creative break we will be back from July to continue with our project.

Tsubame meaning swallow in Japanese just one of our friendly neighbors. We'd like to create our own nest here :)

Hidden in the rural mountain area around Gobleg in north Bali we are starting our own Permaculture project. We want to connect the spirit of Yoga and Permaculture living with the beautiful and pristine environment that was given to us. Preserving its natural beauty while creating a place for living in harmony. Creating a node for connection people in an inspiring environment.
We'd really appreciate your help a lot and would be very happy to work with you. Mostly we looks for people who know a bit about gardening, constructing, creating with their hands and hearts.

It's really a quite remote place in nature. We work with the local people and you will have the chance to encounter Bali at it's roots. No tourists came to this place in the years before. Now we work here to create ... more inside

I am a 40yr old European female looking for a personal fitness trainer to help me get back into shape after 3 months of total apathy (and depression)!

You must be driven, have unshakable determination and have some fitness background.

I'm guessing 2-3 hours per day (1.5 morning and 1.5 evening), 5days a week would suffice:-) I have treadmill, ankle weights, barbells and a small stepper. There is also a gym a few streets from my house I may sign up for if needed and I will pay for your subscription as well.

In exchange I will give you a free room with a fan in my home. (see the pics on website)......You'll have plenty of time to visit beautiful Bali!

Bali is known for its surfing, spiritual retreats and friendly locals. I live 7mns walk from the beach and you can learn more about me and my character in my profile on the AirBNB link I provided :-)

For me personally, I think 2 months will be the maximum, also because of visa issues whereby the longest extension in Ind... more inside

Volunteer Teaching
Teaching is a challenge especially for those who teach foreign languages in Indonesia. Many EFL teachers have taught their Junior or Senior High School students for more than 3 years, but getting their students to speak out loud is very difficult. Research findings indicate that Junior and Senior High School graduates have not been able to use their English skills productively. Many Indonesian students admit that speaking skills are very difficult to master.

In searching for a possible way to improve students acquisition of the English language, an expert says that when producing a word, they must pick the meaning before the sound, and when they recognize the word, the sound comes first. In order to recognize the word the students should hear the proper sound of the word first rather than pick its meaning. Since the proper sound ideally comes from native speakers, the students would greatly benefit from listening to native pronunciation and words and messages... more inside

Things to do
Teaching English
Volunteering is about giving. But it is also about the experience of sharing time with like-minded people, sharing the languages and sharing the fun. Today's volunteers are part of a wonderful history of selfless giving in the face of need. That effort has helped people to find new hope against poverty for a better future. Without volunteer English teachers, most children would not have the chance to speak to a native English speaker.
Indonesian English teachers work hard to make their students proficient, but we can add greatly to their effectiveness with regular classes and intensive visits to schools. If the children can master English, their futures are far more promising in this fast-changing country.
English is one of the most useful languages to speak in the world, but it is often difficult for Indonesian students to master the language without having the chance to practice with English speakers. Schools in Indonesia teach English from Primar... more inside
