Hi there! We are a family with two little children. We live now in Guangzhou and we are ready to offer an accomodation with good conditions for a girl or two in exchange of helping us with some homework, cooking and taking care of children a few hours a day. Preferably vegetarians. Alcohol and drugs are not acceptable, smoking only out of home. Additionally I may teach you basic of meditation and Tsi-gun, and my wife may teach you belly dance. We live in an apartment in Guangzhou (China), district Tian He, near the Jinan University with a lot of attractions around, 5 minutes walk from the metro East Guangzhou Railway station, 15 minutes walk to downtown with a lot of interesting places. Hi, I am Tara, I am an English interpreter worked in a German company (Bertelsmann is the German company name, may be you have ever heard). My husband is a web security engineer. In July 2012, I quit my job just to take care of my six-year-old boy who is going to primary school in September 2013. At meantime I started my English training center to teach Chinese students and my son learning English. It is an interesting thing that I love and good at. I have uploaded one of my photos.

Hi,I am a university student. I usually go back to my hometown during summer and winter vocation. So you can come during those times. My next summer vocation starts from the middle of June 2013. My hometown is located in a country of Southeastern China,which takes about 3 hours to Guangzhou. The weather is pleasant and the scenery is beautiful. It is surrounded by green mountains and limpid rivers. Rice is the main crop and peanut and corn are also planted here. There are a lot of fruits,including litchi, longan, pineapple, watermelon and so on. In a word, it's a funny place. But you have to know that it is in rural area, so there is limited entertainment. It is a place for self-cultivation.
Actually,my farm is very small,so you don't have to work on the farm,but of course you can if you like. I will provide accommodation and food for you. My name is Linzhao ,a college student who always like enjoying his summer and winter holiday time on farm ,this farm which belongs to our big family and mainly runs by my uncle ,it's located in mianyang city,sichuan province,China .we raise pigs and some fish which is not the only thing we are doing,we also do a lot of work on restoring the local ecological environment,because we beleive that humanbeing and environment stay harmonious is a very important way to realize the sustainable development of agriculture or even the humanbeing society .
During summer holiday (around July to early September)and winter holiday(around mid-Junuary to February) volunteers from different coutries to experience farm life or rural chinese life and view a part of China society which is not from big cities like Beijing ,Shanghai or Guangzhou,some of them come to learn and practice their chinese language.

It is a good choice for newcomers to China as their first stop, because:

1. Accommodation is:
a. a flat located around our university or
b. my flat in the city
2. Harbin, where the language is the standard Chinese(Mandarin), is a good place for Chinese learners.

Requirements of volunteers:
*You don't have to be a native English speaker, but fluent English is a must.
*You need to be talkative.

Responsibilities of volunteers:
*Have conversations with students for about 2 hours after dinner.
*Join/Organize English corner on Wednesday evening.
*Give a speech or presentation once a week or culture exchange activities.
*Any ideas that help the students with their English are welcome.

We provide:
