Dayspring is comprised of two parts: Dayspring Farm and Dayspring Home.

While the number fluctuates year to year, between 25-30 children call Dayspring their home. Dayspring children have all been affected by HIV/AIDS in some respect orphaned by the disease, infected themselves and then rejected by their families, or can no longer be supported by infected parent(s). Dayspring (a Trust program) provides food and shelter as well as medical and social support. Please note, we require our volunteers to stay minimum 2 weeks.

The farm is located next to Dayspring Home on 6 acres of land and is maintained by our farmer who tends to the livestock and crops. The farm aims to produce adequate vegetables, fruit, milk and eggs. We sell part of the yield to local outlets in Chittoor village, gaining revenue for Dayspring.

My Work :-

I have a small place where i have been trying to help with Indian underprivileged and disadvantaged and street children since five years go, I am trying my level best with 60 children at the moment. All of them are from the deprive family, who have been living in a huge part of slum in Delhi, where our school (open area without shed) is located. place called Anand Parvat (West center of Delhi) near Patel Nagar.
I have my family & friends with me in support, I am very thankful to them for this great support but even individually a person it is not that important for me to take help from someone until or unless I can do my own by god grace. I believe instead of donating money in temples or in religious doors, which is very common in India, better if I could help directly someone in need. Yes, sometime it makes me feel hard to walk alone but when I think of my Sikh teacher's dedication & scarification for others, I g... more inside

Hi!

Who am I?
My name is Tushar and I am 30 years old from India. After two years of experiential learning / studying Eco-architecture and organic farming in Rajasthan, I decided to amalgamate both my learning genres and return to my native village, Uddhar (Maharashtra). I have 2.5 acres of land here and I have started various organic farming practices and earth friendly buildings. My personal aspiration and intention is to do everything in a sustainable and earth friendly manner..

What is my project?
My current project is to create an self growing organic farm using local & natural materials like stone, bamboo, mud, grass and many more obtained in the wild.
I have divided my land into two parts >
One being the residential zone where you can reside, chill, hold discussions and sleep your hearts out in the eco-friendly Geo-Dome (made out of bamboo and hey grass) and the newly constructed Karawi House (a traditional adiwasi hut).
Second being the earth friendly organic farm... more inside
