I own a small property that is 1.5 hours from Nadi International Airport. If you arrive into Fiji during the day, you can travel by Pacific Express (Public transport) for approx. F$7.00 to Sigatoka town. My home is right beside the Sigatoka Sand Dunes, famous for their rich archaeological history and close to the beach which offers great surfing for all levels of surfers even those willing to learn. I am 5 minutes away from town and the bus transport (F$0.75cents bus fare)to my area operates from 7am to 5pm. Taxis however is 24 hours and costs about F$5.00 to F$7.00 into town.

I would welcome helpers to maintain the upkeep of the home. You are free to stay at no extra charge, however you will buy and cook your own meals, as I do not stay on property. You will have the house to yourself, so I would recommend this for couples. You will be required to keep the house and yard clean.

We are a Fijian couple who live on a sugar cane farm overlooking the Sleeping Giant of Fiji.

We are developing our family home into a home stay for travelers who wish to experience the true Fijian lifestyle and volunteers of Treasure House Christian Children's Home. Our home is full of love, care and plenty of family visits, and where we can we invite you to be a part of it.

We are hoping to find someone with landscaping, farming knowledge that can assist us developing our garden area and newly built deck for a more user friendly environment.

For 3-4hrs a day you will receive free dorm style accommodation with bathroom facilities, and use of the kitchen,and cable TV. Food is $5 per meal and is typically Fijian, and we can cater for vegetarians.

There is no hot water in the bathrooms but who needs it with the Fijian weather!

Recent renovations have included interconnecting bathroom servicing two double rooms.

Hi, it's time we update our profile a bit, with more info to plan your trip and stay.

We are looking for helpers to build up our kindergarten. There is heaps to do: from building furniture to renovating bathrooms, from baking to lantern making, from writing business plan to conducting child care research, from designing and building a vegetable garden and the list goes on!

The kindergarten has 30 children from 2 to 6 years old. There are 2 groups, the Lalai group for the young ones and the actual kindergarten group.

At this stage we mostly need people to help build furniture, fence, benches, hooks, cupboards, etc. Part of the premises is fenced, but we will have to finish the fence along the creek, that runs at the bottom of the garden. I live in a big piece of land in Malolo island in front of the beach.
I grow local fruit and veges in my garden (sweet potatoes, kasava, fruit bread, kumara,etc.) and work most a time bringing surfers to surf spots (Wilke's passage, Namotu or Cloudbreak on saturday)

I'm looking for help to start a surfcamp, helpers could come fishing, gardening, building and overall enjoying this wonderfull place with many activities availables!

The place is close to resort at lowtide (there is a trader).Bring a tent.
