We are looking for an au pair or nanny for our 2 yo. We live on the South Pacific tropical island of Rarotonga. I own a dive shop called Pacific Divers here. We usually have people with us for up to 6 months. You will be accommodated in a staff house alongside other people who work or train at the dive shop. Your role will be to accompany James to preschool then bring him home and care for him until 4.30 each weekday. We have 2 other kids who will also get home from school around 2.30pm. All your expenses will be covered and you will be given any diving and PADI courses you wish to do. Rarotonga is a beautiful tropical island with nice beaches and a clean environment.

This is a detox sanctuary for all people who wish to avoid alcohol/drugs/and the hassle involved with such toxins. At this quiet, pretty, lagoon-side organic location you may swim, snorkel, or dive after your day's work which involves husking coconuts, finely slicing coconuts for drying, then prep'ing for market. Please make sure to bring good reef shoes and snorkelling gear to enjoy this remote area of lagoon with amazing colourful tropical fish. A camera would help as there are amazing flowers and plants all over the Island.
Perhaps you too have musical talents - without the aid of alcohol - that you wish to share with us here?
Further pursuits involve upholding Maori traditions of Umu, so you may learn cultural cooking.
Other chores are DIY maintenance of buildng/s, mowing grass/garden maintenance, and/or housework. Pls note: Housework should be done routinely and willingly! You are living in the premises too!
Outdoor DIY skills would also an added bonus. I appreciate Germa... more inside

I own a tourism cultural attraction which carries out cultural tours. Our tours include learning how to cook food in a umu (underground oven), learning all about the uses of coconuts & a tour of our plantation & marae (sacred meeting place). Visitors get the opportunity to sample our local homebrew which is a tradition from the island of Atiu. Our tours are held 3 times a week in our premises. I also own a bar & eatery which is open in the evenings & serves a great food menu & drinks in a very local atmosphere. In addition to this I also own & manage a number of holiday homes & a small produce/ vegetable farm. Having been a traveller in the past I am keen to welcome those looking to include a local experience in their visit.
