I own a tourism cultural attraction which carries out cultural tours. Our tours include learning how to cook food in a umu (underground oven), learning all about the uses of coconuts & a tour of our plantation & marae (sacred meeting place). Visitors get the opportunity to sample our local homebrew which is a tradition from the island of Atiu. Our tours are held 3 times a week in our premises. I also own a bar & eatery which is open in the evenings & serves a great food menu & drinks in a very local atmosphere. In addition to this I also own & manage a number of holiday homes & a small produce/ vegetable farm. Having been a traveller in the past I am keen to welcome those looking to include a local experience in their visit.
