We are a Samoan family and have taken over the responsibility of managing the resort on the village's coastal land situated on the south-west of the island of Upolu. The property has an idyllic beach incorporating a lava flow creating small islands. The coral speckled water sparkles in different hues of blue. As well as giving the resort a facelift, we have several exciting projects on the go. We are creating a marine protected area in the lagoon in front of the resort by having the youth of the area work together to plant new coral. We have the longest lava tube in Samoa in our backyard and we are wanting to open this up for public visits. We are working with the youth of the village to develop a cultural performance. When you come to stay with our family, you will have your own bungalow or fale between two of you. You may be asked to share your enthusiasm and help out in any of these areas.
