STAR school caters for 3-16 yr olds and we are looking for volunteers to work with senior students, this summer to help with the painting, shelving, sorting of books and setting up the lending library. Lending Libraries are not common in Tanzanian schools and this is a new venture.There are photographs of the outside structure of the library and the internal structure to date. The walls will be plastered and we are hoping to paint them in the time given. Dear Volunteers,
We are a family of 5 (3 children) living in Adjohoun, Benin (West Africa) on a huge farm. We started several projects which include : Ecofarming, Permanculture, Various breading (Chicken, sheep etc). We are looking volunteers helps in those areas.
As ACCOMODATION, Volunteers will work 06 hours per day (3 in the morning) and 3 in the Afternoon, with period of break if possible, From Monday to Friday. They will be offered free hosting on the farm (camping or rooms) with free Internet, utilities (Water, Electricity etc)
We grow our own daily meal and sell them to markets etc... therefore, food will not be a problem.
PS: No illegal activities (prostitution, drugs, guns, narcotics etc) are welcomed on the site as we are very spiritual and very honest.
Everyone is welcome. We do not discriminate based on Gender, Race or National Origin.
However, you must be in good health and be ready to adapt to the weather conditions. (Mosquitos nets are available on site).

We are a company in the north of Malawi producing essential oils (lemon Eucalytpus oil, Rose geranium, lemongrass and citronella oil) in the middle of the beautiful Viphya Forest Reserve.

Our oils are used in a range of products in the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries, and ultimately in natural insect repellents like Mosiguard Natural, that contain no chemicals whatsoever and are effective for upto 10 hours.

CPL is in one of the most beautiful places imaginable and is very committed to its social development in the north through its activities with charity, Expand.

We are now in the fourth year of operations and its still moving along! By January 2012 we would have planted 600ha of Corymbria citriodora to produce our core product, a lemon fragrant Oil that is exported, refined and used in products such as natural insect repellents.

Building an eco lodge hostel and spa for backpackers in the middle of a banana, coffee, cacao, bamboo plantation

My goal is to turn it into kind of a spiritual retreat where backpackers can reconnect with nature,
take time off from the hectic pace of traveling,
spend time to get to know each other,
do yoga, meditation, all kinds of workshops, learn about medicinal plants, do juicing and detox followed by a sauna and jacuzzi

Accommodations
For now there is one bamboo cabana (shown in the picture) and brand new tents with very comfy mattresses, pillows, blankets
Outside showers with amazing view in the middle of banana trees supplied by natural spring water

Food (but i'm not much of a cook !!!) and lodging are provided for 5 hours a day per person,
unlimited supply of homegrown bananas, plantains, lemons, yucca, sugar cane). Fresh homegrown fish, eggs, cow milk from my neighbors

We are looking for a craftsperson/carpenter for our building project . We will build facilities for a yurt camp: toilets, shower, open kitchen, fireplace, fence.
We will work with mostly local materials and building methods to make the project as ecological as possible. With involving foreign volunteers we intent to learn from each other about different building techniques.

Project:
The intention of the design is to use both traditional and new materials and building techniques. The building execution is a collaboration with local construction workers and foreign craftsmen.
