Nous avons besoin de souffler un peu avec les enfants et/ou d’aide pour avancer dans nos travaux.
Ce serait donc pour aider dans les travaux de la maison: plaquo, travaux divers.Pour cet été nous aurions besoin de quelqu'un sachant monter des portes et faire des cloisons en plaquo plâtre!
Et/ou S'occuper occasionnellement des enfants : Tao, 6 ans et Léon 4 ans, pour jouer. Ils sont au jardin d’enfant Waldorf de Strasbourg qu’à mi temps. Ce serait pour me soutenir de temps en temps les mercredis et les vendredis, quelques heures dans la journée, ou en soirée.(à définir ensemble)
Et puis découvrir ce que vous auriez envie de nous faire partager, sur ce que vous aimez et vous fait vibrer dans la vie.
En échange, vous êtes nourrit, hébergé dans notre petit camping-car situé dans la cour. Du coup vous gardez vous indépendance. (il y a une kitchenette à l’intérieur, vous pouvez manger seul ou avec nous en fonction des besoins de chacun). Comme les tr...

I am James, and I am renovating a pair of houses at the edge of the Lac de Guerledan. I need help with painting, sanding, glazing, all manner of things.
There is plenty of outside work such as tree cutting, log splitting, etc.
You don't have to be skilled, just willing and able.
The accomodation for helpers is a small caravan but in the small house there is hot water, shower, cooking facilities, basic electrics, fridge, washing machine. There is internet access and TV, in exchange for 25/30 hours per week.
The area is very popular for walkers, cyclists and canoeists. The property is right on the Nantes - Brest canal. The Lac de Guerledan is a popular resort especially in the summer months.

We are Martine & Marc.
Since 2008 we live in a traditional french cottage.
The cottage dates back to about 300 years and used to be a vineyard.
We came to France to escape from the business of western lifestyle and our self-sufficient mini-farm is growing every year.
The basic and simple lifestyle is bringing us a lot of hapiness and joy and we would like to share this.
We manage quite well; grow our own vegetables and bake our bread in a traditional breadoven, home-improvement the improvised way due to lack of modern (expensive) resources. Together with our 5 cats, 4 chicken, a rooster, 2 pigs and 1 dog, our life is satisfying.
A place like ours needs maintenance and always inspires us to continue building and creating new things. We run a stray dog charity here in Bulgaria and often take in rescues to rehabilitate. To that end we are clearing a plot we own next door to our main house and hoping to renovate the barns to more dog runs.
We have a large garden with various projects to do (re-build mud brick wall), vegetable garden etc. We also have 2 rental houses in the same village with gardens to maintain and the properties to give a quick clean every now and then.
Happy to host one or two people (couple or friends but will need to share a room - has either double or single beds) for a few days.

Hi, Our names are Sandy and Barrie, we are a very friendly English couple who are living their dream in Brittany, with our Labrador dog VJ and 3 sheep.
We have a complex of 4 holiday cottages and our own farmhouse, all of which we renovated from scratch on our own, wish we had heard of HelpX 12 years ago!!!!
There is a hectare of land mainly lawned areas for the business. There are numerous fruit trees and a large organic vegetable/ soft fruit patch. Plus we keep a few sheep.
I make jams, chutneys, bottled fruit and liqueurs from the harvest during summer months, and look after the holiday cottages. Barrie does the maintenance on the buildings, the ongoing building work and gardening.
The cottages sleep up to 26 people and we are looking forward to welcoming a helper or helpers during the year to help lighten our load. Normally we have 2 at ...

we live in Brittany (Bretagne), in an old farm house which we renovated and have a big garden with collections of plants (500 old roses, trees and shrubs). There is also a large meadow along the little river where we plant and cut wood.
We need a lot of help from February to June, and often in october too, but our workteam is now complete.
We definitely don't work in Summer !
I can teach you french language and french cooking, if you wish.
You have to work 3 hours a day, saturday and sunday free. You can also work longer one day to be free another (ask us before).
We eat together after work (around 1 p.m.) and you cook your own evening meal (we give you what you need) in your house.
We live at 3,5 km from the first village, so you'll find here two bicycles.
Next train station or airport: Lorient. We pick you up there.

Come and help us run our beautiful little campsite. We are a small traditional campsite set along both banks of the river Trieux in a wooded walley near the town on Guingamp. You would be expected to help us for 4 hours a day with tasks such as looking after the animals (ducks, sheep, goats, hens), campers, and on occasions, our boys. Other jobs around the site would include helping with building projects, grass cutting, path maintanance, painting, cleaning, and the weekly campsite BBQ.
You can either stay in a bedroom, or if you prefer a tent of course. We are a bilingual, christian family of four, with two small boys, and offer the option of eating with us, or if you prefer we can provide you with food that you can cook youselves. We do a lot of BBQs in the warmer months. We would welcome all people who are interested, including couples, but it should be noted that the tasks would generally suit the more outdoory type.

Looking for good helpers couple welcome to help get my house and garden in order.I am wanting to sell so need to tidy up.

Large stone mill house in an idyllic, rural, riverside location (fishing available). Close to the coast, four major towns in Lower Normandy and various tourist attractions (ie: Mont St Michel, Bayeux Tapestry, D-Day Beaches). Approximately two acres of land where we keep various small animals. The family consists of myself and my three children, two of whom are over twenty and go to university, we are an English family who speak fluent French.
Accomodation in the form of a comfortable twin room with separate bathroom facilities, television, wifi and meals available. In exchange we would like help with the garden and certain basic unfinished DIY jobs (ie: painting, decorating).
We are a host family for French students from Paris who come and stay with us to improve their English.
We are looking for help from 20th of May until 10th of June but can be flexible.

JULY 2013 OR LAST WEEK OF AUGUST ONLY
Accommodation and meals in a lovely ancient home in Brittany for a week in exchange for helping us 5h a day improving our home: we have to make a stone wall in our garden and make a cemented terrace in front of our home. So if you are a builder, you are our man!
We need someone skilled or a DIY lover, as we cannot teach you how to do it! Please, do not loose your time contacting us if you are not skilled!
On the other hand, we can also host a couple on a bed and breakfast basis for 3h/work a day each, and you can distribute the time as you like along the week, so that you can have free time to enjoy our area and the magnificent landscapes of Brittany. We are centrally located next to Carhaix, so this mean you can tour all Brittany in one day trips.
In Carhaix you can enrol in lots of activities: golf, horse riding, tree climbing. swimming, jacuzzi, tennis playing...there is also several free internet points, a cinema and a library. A...
