We are a small Llamas farm, located in the Pyrenees mountains. If you are looking for an original French experience, it could be the right place for you!
Here in the high Pyrenees, near to the Andorra & Spanish border, we offer you the possibility to live and work in a calm and isolated place, surrounded by high mountains and nothing but pure nature, and good meals "à la française" after our activities among our lamas (about 15 of them).
We are a retired French couple, but we used to work and live in foreign countries and continents, which made us interested in people and cultures from all over the world.
In the surroundings, there are beautiful places that we would be happy to make you discover, and if you want, we can trek together with Llamas...
For your own, you`d get an entire and cosy apartment, and join us for generous meals that we like to share and appreciate together (so, no vegetarian requirement, please).
If you are fit : slopes make the work pretty physical ... more inside

We have decided to try and speed up renovation work on our semi-ruined farmhouse property in a small hamlet close to Albi and Gaillac (Tarn). The pool is in, so is a big kitchen and dining room, bedroom, office, shower room and bathroom - the essentials! But there is still a lot to do and we are not getting any younger... We need help with stonework – in particular we have a project to build a low stone wall along the back of the pool (see picture) and point the existing stonework on one of the pinion walls (about 20m2) we would also like to finish building up the stone cladding on the back wall (see photo). The paving around the pool is set in sand rather than concrete and this year we need to re-seat them as quite a few have moved... they weigh 20 kilos a piece so this involves heavy lifting! The list is long and of course we can’t expect to get it all done this year – the final list of jobs would depend on the skills you have. We also need to get on with some of the inside work (... more inside

This gite in the Ariege Pyrenees is looking for help around the garden and with general renovation work. Set in a stunning mountain valley location, but within easy reach of town with bars and restaurants. The gite has a swimming pool and the area is wonderful for climbing, hill walking/mountaineering, skiing and cycling (also the annual Tour de France cycle race regularly passes close by to here).

** Update.....we have Availability from the beginning of March 2018 **

We are a Dutch young couple living in Condom in (sunny) Gascony in the South West of France.
We have 2 young children, one boy who is 8 years old and one little girl of 6, we also have always between 6-8 dogs depending on how many rescue dogs we have at that time.
We work together with an association who rescue dogs and when there is a dog in need they call us & we try to help and find them good homes in cooperation with several organisations in Europe, so the dogs are an important factor in our lives.

We are looking for an open minded, caring, energetic, independent handy couple (man/woman) to help us run our daily hectic household which means, cooking, cleaning, walking the dogs, babysitting/entertaining the kids, washing and other diy maintenance jobs. A drivers license, valid in France, is essential & gives you some freedom as we live quite remote.
Due to several reasons we cannot accept any people... more inside
