Hey Everyone! We have availability from the beginning of March 2018 now.

We are looking for TWO happy, enthusiastic, outdoor loving, independent travellers to be our Helpers.

We must stress we need TWO helpers who are traveling together as you will share the room you sleep/live in. Having your own vehicle is a VERY good thing, but if you are over 25yrs old and hold a full drivers license Anna might lend you her car occasionally.

We live in Hahei on the beautiful East coast of the Coromandel Peninsula and need help mostly cleaning and for general jobs at the place including gardening and some maintenance.

Your accommodation is a self-contained room , with own shower and toilet,TV, Fridge, etc and we provide food in return for 4 hours for 6 days of the week. Please NOTE the cottage pictured is not your accommodation.

We like to go fishing when possible, surfing when there's some swell and generally enjoying this beautiful part of NZ.

Kia Ora

We are a small Tibetan Buddhist Retreat Centre located in the peaceful Colville valley, on the enchanting Coromandel Peninsula. Staying and helping at a Tibetan Buddhist Centre offers you the possibility to ask questions about Buddhism, to participate in daily meditations, to reflect on the meaning of life or simply to be mindful while whilst helping in the gardens, helping in the house or serving our guests. We look forward to meeting optimistic volunteers who enjoy helping others and who would like to join our friendly team.

Current Openings:
**Cook: From March 2018 onward
**Housekeeper/Relief Cook: From April 2018 onward
**Groundskeeper: from April 2018 onward

If you think you will be good fit, please email us a little description of yourself, your availability, relevant skills, and experience. We do ask for a minimum of one month commitment although you are welcome to volunteer with us for up to three months.

If you have any experience with Tibetan Buddhis... more inside

We have dairy farm located in a beautiful valley south of thames. At present we need fit people to help with gardening, painting and general farm work. In exchange for 4-6 hours work per day we offer a self contained flat and basic food. The flat is great as a base for exploring the wider area especially the Coromandel. Roughly 1 1/2 hours to rotorua, waitomo caves. Wonderful bush walks etc within walking distance of the farm. In return for the work we believe that our farm offers travellers the chance to experience the culture of a fully working dairy farm. Please note that you are on your own in the flat. We do try to share some meals but if we are away you are expected to totally manage your time. We are up a no exit road so there is no public transport. Experienced horse riders an advantage

Please only get in touch if you have experience and knowledge in developing permaculture and Food Forests.

We live in Thames and I am wanting to develop a food forest within a small bush at the back of our section.
If you have knowledge and experience with permaculture and Food Forests, please get in touch with me.

We have a cat, a puppy, a bird and bees.

We are across the road from the Hauraki Rail Trail and have 2 bikes you can borrow.

I would like 4 hours of your help a day in exchange for a comfortable bed and your own private area down stairs and good food!

I can pick you up from the bus in Thames.

Thanks, Jo & Sandy

WiFi available to use.

I offer a majestic view; a basic fare of soup, fish and chips, roast chookand fajista, smoked kahawai and pizza burgers etc; with homemade beer.

In exchange I ask for 3hrs per day (9-12). You do not work on the day of your arrival or the day you leave (except to make the bed etc).

Behind my place is the mighty Coromandel Range so you can go walkies up the creek into the bush. Maybe use windsurfer boards as kayaks and just paddle around. Possibly cycle 4km to Waiomu and walk 1hr to Kauri Grove. Or just chill with the view and/or catch a fish from the beach.

TEXAS HOLDEM (free or $20) in town on Thursday night. TWILIGHT GOLF Wednesday, ($12 for 9 holes, $10 for dinner and $5 for a beer) is up to you but I go as I help on the bar.

Please Note: I have a mouse that lives in the house. You may also see the odd hedgehog, and waddling ducks sometimes appear in the lean to, scrounging for food. I have even had a possum run around the lounge and out an open window! Please don'... more inside

We are open from 1st October til 30th April and are crazy busy in between so need lots of help and enthusiasm to ensure a good time is had by all. accommodation is in the house above the cafe. We ask for 4hrs work a day for 6 days a week in return for board and lodge, we close Mondays so everyone gets a day off. Work varies from garden work, renovations, help in the cafe or shop. We make all our own bread, cakes, ice cream and PIES. Specialise in glorious Coromandel seafood and have an overall organic/good food ethos.

We have a flower and vegetable garden. Accommodation is a comfortable sleep-out with an en suite. It contains one double bed. Wi-fi is free and available twenty four/seven.

We offer short term accommodation, including all meals, in return for light gardening tasks. Our previous helpers have generally worked for half a day and then gone exploring the many delights of the area for the second half. We aim to give our "helpers" a "stay to remember"

Waihi is on SH2, 150kms south of Auckland and 50kms from Tauranga.
