We are seeking an enthusiastic Cafe all-rounder to assist at our unique cafe in Matamata.

For this position we would ideally like you to be with us for 6 to 10 weeks, as we will need to train you in our processes.

We share the tasks in and around our house, including cleaning and general house work. You can decide when you would like to do it, so long as the house is vacuumed and dusted, the kitchen is tidy, bathrooms are clean... just normal housework.

We are in the summer season and need someone that can stay with us and work at the cafe. We need your assistance at the cafe in the weekends, public holidays and sometimes a day during the week during the busy times, in exchange for all the great things that we like to do for our lovely helpxers' (taking then with us to see, do experience NZ.)

We'd like a cafe all-rounder in our lovely little Hobbit themed cafe where we also have costume dress-up for our customers.

Someone with previous experience would be grea... more inside

We're a young (one toddler) family who love surfing, music and travel. We live in Raglan West walking distance to town and a quick drive to the surf (we'd be happy to give you a lift). We have a good sized spare room for a single or couple and are looking for someone to help with simple jobs as we landscape our garden, and tidy up our house. We're looking for short stays and would agree terms when in contact. Cheers!

Available for short stays - 2 or 3 days are ideal. 2 hours help per day. There's always weeding to do! Or there may be other fairly light work - sanding & painting, housework, pruning - depending on the time of year and weather. Someone with a bit of plumbing knowledge could be useful at the moment too ... but help is always needed with weeding!

You will need to provide your own food (vegetarian/semi-veg please, no red meat cooking) - shared meals are a possibility. You'll also need your own transport.

The house is a converted barn, 5 minutes from Matamata. Accommodation in spare room (or there is parking for camper-vans). Large section with orchard, ducks and cats. Non-smoking household. Yoga tuition available - can swap for extra work.

This accommodation is not suitable for children or dogs.

We have a 9 unit motel and holiday park which accommodates campervans/tents/and buses. We can offer a self contained motel room or an on site caravan, free wifi, and meals in exchange for general cleaning duties/maintenanace work and painting.Would love to have someone for a long term, but of course we welcome any proposals.Putaruru is close to "everywhere" and though not essential, having your own vehicle will allow you to enjoy so much more of what the Waikato has to offer.Rotorua,Taupo,Mt Maunganui and Waitomo caves are all within an hours driving.Locally the famous "Blue springs",Hobbitton and Waikato river walks feature and we will be able to arrange transport to some places if you do not have a vehicle. We are both maori and I think we can provide other perceptions and cultural perspectives to your visit.

We live on a small lifestyle block in a historic converted old creamery, 10 minutes from Matamata and central to Hamilton and Tauranga.
We are 25 minutes from Hobbiton, and 45 minutes from Rotorua and Mount Maunganui. We are also close to many biking and tramping tracks and some hot mineral pools.
We would like to share our home with travellers in exchange for help around our place. We would prefer couples or two friends even though one person is ok too. Wireless internet is available.
We would prefer shorter stays of about one week, but this is negotiable.

My husband and I work outside of the home; I am a Naturopath/Herbalist and Martin is into IT. Our children are at University, and we have a cat, dog and chickens. We have a big organic garden and grow vegetables, fruit and flowers.
Some of things that we need help with would be, gardening, mowing lawns, housekeeping, painting, planting trees and forming paths at the beach, and cooking, preserving if you are that way incli... more inside

We are a family run medium sized dairy farm, located 10 minutes drive from the township of Otorohanga in the king Country area. We run dairy cows and a small amount of beef dry stock. We also have a small deer operation and various other farm animals.

We have just added a free range egg business to our place, so there are animals galore! Looking after the chickens will be your main job and then we will give you other jobs to make your daily work up to 4 hours per day. If you want to negotiate some days to be longer so you can have days to go off exploring that is fine.

We love meeting new people from other parts of the world and believe this would be a great way to do this. We have three children aged 21, 14 and 12.

We look forward to meeting you.
