We are a young NZ family who left our city lives behind in Auckland 4 years ago to live in beautiful suburban Papamoa Beach. Our home is only 1.8km to the beach, close to bus route, a quick drive to Bayfair shops or Papamoa shops. Under 15 minutes drive to Tauranga city or Mount Maunganui. 45 minutes to Rotorua or 3 hours to Auckland.

Phillip (35) is an Architect in Tauranga, enjoys running, gym, kayaking and cycling. Stephanie is a busy stay at home Mother to a 5 year old school girl and 2.5 year old boy. Stephanie (32) loves cafes, reading, movies, taking photos of the children, pilates and natural health. A pet cat lives here too.

We would love a helper who will enjoy childcare/au pair and helping us around the house and garden. Spring cleaning, windows, weeding, car cleaning and other little jobs we never seem to get around to would be available. We also have outdoor furniture that needs oiling if that job interests you. Around 3-4 hours help per day would be so appreciat... more inside

We are a fun family, originally from the UK, with a toddler, young baby and an energetic dog who are renovating a very small older house in Rotorua. We have both travelled worldwide and like meeting new people. Our house is right on the edge of the Whakarewarewa forest aka 'The Redwoods' and is only a 30 min walk/10min cycle from Rotorua CBD. We have separate accommodation for one or two people (couple or two friends) with its own bathroom and wifi. We would like some help with work in the garden, veg patch and general cleaning and cooking. We would really enjoy it if you also cooked something from your country/area for us while you were here. :-) In return for 4.5 hours work per night, you are welcome to stay and eat with us. We provide a simple breakfast and lunch which you may help yourself to and a family meal in the evenings, complete with a messy child and lots of washing up! We have a strong Wifi signal available (both in the house and in your accommodation), are close to... more inside

Hi,

I`m a beekeeper in need of assistance, either with the bees directly or not. I`m located 16km South of Te Puke on a property that has a back boundary of native forest. I`m usually able to host people at any time of year, but am busiest in the spring. I currently have building projects happening, as well as lots of painting, waxing new bee frames, & also hands on beekeeping for anyone who is keen.

I also keep sheep & cattle on the property here, & hunt deer & pigs in the forest. These grass & forest fed animals form a large part of the menu here, so vegetarians probably won`t be happy with the diet. I cater to lots of herbivores & they all have hooves.

The accommodation is a spare room in the house. The house is a late 1800`s villa in need of replacement, but it keeps the weather out & I find it comfortable. Housework isn`t high on my priority list, but we try to keep it liveable. Any clean freaks who have never been outside a sterile environment may hate it here, but pe... more inside

We are a 190 acre Dairy farm with small 100 cow herd and horses for leisure trekking and harness. Situated on the beautiful West Coast in the Bay of Plenty overlooking the ocean, there is lots to see and do in the area. We seek someone to help with 'once-a-day' milking and horse riding. Must be a capable horse rider. Cleaning and cooking skills are always a bonus!
We have our own vege garden and eat home-grown meat and often wild pork and venison. You will get the opportunity to experience NZ Hunting.
Also milk a small flock of goats and am experimenting with home-made goats cheese. We have a self-contained flat for volunteers to stay in.

Currently booked until 20 November.

Looking for a couple of helpers to come and stay for a week or so to help with gardening and general spring clean around the house.
We offer accommodation in return for 2 hours of help per person in a twin room. You would buy and organise your own food. Full kitchen facilities available.

We are an easy going family consisting of mum, dad and our young son. Nathalie is a teacher and Kerry is an accountant, both working mainly from home. Our son is homeschooled.

Katikati is a friendly small town in the Bay of Plenty, 15 minute drive from Waihi Beach, 30 min to Tauranga (bus or car). We are on the main bus route from Auckland to Tauranga. There is a bicycle for you to use to explore the area if you haven't got a car.

If you are interested, please email us and tell us a bit about yourself. We will respond to all emails.
