Hi,
We are a family of 4.
Kelly is a stay at home mum who also works part-time mostly from home.
Stu works in Wellington at NZRTA. He leaves early in the morning and gets back at about 5.30pm.
Ella is 8 and Hazel is 6. They have great imaginations and love to play together . They enjoy being read to, doing crafts, walks on the beach....
Harry is our enthusiastic small dog who to be honest needs to spend more time on the end of a lead. Lemon is our cat.
We live one street back from the beach and at the end of our road is the entrance to Queen Elizabeth Park (great for bike riding, running etc). We have a reasonable sized section and try to grow our own organic vegetables and have the odd fruit tree. Any help with this would be much appreciated!

We would love helpers from time to time to help with odd jobs both inside and outside of the house: gardening, painting, helping with housework (vacuuming, doing dishes). Would be great if you are able to cook and ab... more inside

I am German and have lived in New Zealand for almost 20 years. My two children live here half the week (4yr and 16yr), which tends to be the more social half of the week (other half I work a lot). We have a Kiwi dog, 6 kiwi chickens and 2 Kiwi guinea pig.

Only five minutes drive from Hutt city, or 20 min to Wellington by train.

We live amidst a very beautiful native bush setting with a small stream running through the property, lots of Fantail, Kererus, Tui and other native birds. Enjoy unlimited access to the bush via walking tracks which go right to the top of the hills above Wainuiomata via fire breaks, or take a quick 20-minute loop walk to work up an appetite before dinner.

Right now I am looking for someone mainly for painting, gardening work and some cleaning. Anyone with woods skills would also be very handy. If you can handle a chainsaw let me know! You must be happy to work if it's raining as most work is outdoors.

The suggested arrangement is for you to... more inside

Deb runs a global leadership program and teaches at university. Dai is a retired management professor, organisation development consultant, and was a trustee of the New Zealand Olympic Academy.

Our younger sons, Liam and Bryn, are graduates launched on more experiences overseas. Piers, the eldest son, Jaci and their two small girls (Alice and Nina) also live in the farm cottage. Our great mate Paul also lives on the farm and is the resident 'chef extraordinaire' for weekend taste delights.

We also have wonderful WWOOFERS come to stay and a very full set of information and video are available at http://www.wwoof.co.nz/profile/?mid=675

It has been a joy to meet so many impressive people and learn about their cultures. And we love laughter and sharing our kiwi culture with visitors.

Hi everybody! We are a vegan farm animal sanctuary in Otaki, just over an hour drive from Wellington. Every day we care for over 200 animals (ponies, cows, goats, pigs, sheep, chickens, ducks, cats, bunnies and more) who have been abandoned, injured or mistreated.

We are looking for people, either single or a couple, to come and join us for a minimum of a month. If you are the right fit there might be a more permanent place for you some people choose to stay for a year or more.

Please only apply if you are vegetarian or vegan (you would be expected to eat vegan whilst at the sanctuary). We are hoping to find someone who shares our commitment to animals and the environment and who we can connect with ethically. Lesbian/Gay/Bi/Trans/Queer+ friendly is essential.

We have a lot of inquiries so a priority is always given to activists and people with passion around the environment, human rights, animal rights and other social concerns. We consider ourselves feminists and anarc... more inside

We are a family of 3, offering you a furnished room plus study in the separate, ground floor flat of our Kilbirnie home.
Darryl and Laurian are a professional couple and our delightful daughter has just turned 5 and started school. We are a well-travelled, fun loving family who enjoy sharing our city with people from elsewhere.
We require help with general house-keeping duties and occasional childcare - approximately 2-3 hours per day. We can offer some flexibility in arranging your helping times to fit with a job, studies etc. We prefer someone who plans to be in Wellington for several weeks or more rather than just a few days.
The flat has its own entrance (separate from the house). We offer a good sized double bedroom plus study, as well as access to a shared kitchen, bathroom and lounge plus a shared sun-filled garden (WiFi included, but food and power not included). Our home in Kilbirnie is just minutes from the local shopping centre, the beach, and Wellington airport. It... more inside

Accommodation is in a separate converted sheep shed where I supply the food and you do your own cooking as mine is not that great. I prefer work to start no later than 10am. Arrival is on a Monday morning at 8.30am and departure is also on a Monday at 8.30am. I am not vegetarian but vegetarians are welcome with appropriate food supplied. Smokers welcome if you smoke outside. Pretty much everything you need is supplied.
I need a bit of help renovating an old train carriage into a tiny house and if you are a gas fitter/plumber or an electrician your help would be much appreciated.
I generate some of my own power with solar electric and solar hot water, muesli, laundry detergent, soap, jams, preserves, seed saving, spin and knit wool and grow beef and vegetables and beekeeping bees for honey. Also I have about an acre of blueberries. Blueberry picking season is generally in January and February.
While I do these things I don't do them every day as farms are seasonal. I have a varie... more inside

Hi

We live in a sunny, private home in the beautiful suburb Northland. You could walk to the botanic garden in 5 minutes or to the city center in around 30 minutes or you could take the bus - the bus station is just 1 minute away.

In return for accomodation, breakfast and dinner we expect 3-4 hours work/day for housework and babysitting/childcare.
We are a German family with two children (1 + 4 years). Because of the childcare non smokers only please.

Please Note the Next Vacancy March 2018

We are a middle aged, fit couple who enjoy meeting people from around the world. It would be a bonus to have assistance of 4 hours a day as we are often busy, and our lovely house and section has lots of challenges.

We live close to Wellington CBD, the Capital of New Zealand. There is good transport. We live 10 minutes by road to the Wellington railway station and the Cook Strait Ferry to/from the South Island (Interislander). [We will try and pick up helpers.] We live in the suburb of Johnsonville which is 20 minutes by rail (on a scenic line) to the city. Johnsonville has its own shopping centre. The Intercity buses have a stop at Johnsonville - (Naked Bus does not).

We can host a couple or two friends, or an individual. There is a double bed. See photo.

Our section has over 200 trees and shrubs with nice lawns. It is a half acre, or 0.2 hectors. There are always tasks to do depending on one's skills, gardening, weeding, cu... more inside
