Kia ora and hello!
We had a cancellation and need help between the 15th and 22nd of Dec - cheers!
Our home in the middle of Honeymoon Valley surrounded by beautiful native bush. We built this house using local clay (in-situ adobe method) and green roofs. I use a basic mix of permaculture & bio-dynamic principles with projects.
We prefer to host people who have some life and work experience and who can work independently.

We have a workshop with basic tools and I collected recycled wood, bamboo etc. for creative carpentry.

Other activities are mowing, composting, chickens, chopping fire wood, preserving, making vinegar and beer, baking bread, propagating, seed collecting....

For every day you help 4-5 hours/day I exchange accommodation - own room and bathroom - breakfast, sandwich lunch and cooked dinner, mostly organic, when possible with veggies & fruits fresh from the garden. If you need extra snack or a special diet (e.g. gluten free) please bring this with you.

Hi!

My name is David, I am a sailor who is living in a beautiful village of Mangonui.

I have a project : a cottage and sailing boat I need artists, and people who love gardening to transform this place with lot of colours and atmosphere.

The job is : 4 hours per day for free accommodation or camping, lunch and diner ! Not many places but enough to have a lot of fun together! ....minimum stay one week !!
So, if you are friendly, smiling, with the will to share and interested to be part of this project you are welcome !!!

I like vegetables (I have a vegetables garden) and I eat a lot of fruits and healthy food. My priority to receive people is : cook together, made bread, spend time together, learn about each other, go fishing or get shellfish...

Your own car can be a help if you want to discover Northland ! Cap Rienga, Doubtless Bay, Kerikeri, Bay of Islands... and the far north!

Hope to see you soon !

David
