Our Helpers seem to enjoy having independent accommodation here: a self-contained bunkhouse (similar to an apartment), with all the conveniences of a home.

We're in a remote location accessible only by boat. We are happy to assist with transportation from Havelock, Marlborough. There's seafood for you to gather or catch, and hills, forest, trails, and beach to explore. You can use the dinghy and kayaks to explore or fish.

We're entirely off-grid: solar power, etc.

Help wanted: In exchange for accommodation, meat, and some groceries, 22 hours/week yard work, building maintenance, housekeeping. No smoking. No drugs, no way, no how. We hope you like to laugh a lot!

**** We could do with 1 or 2 helpers this week, plenty of gardening to do with the grass growing fast and starting to refurbish a second cabin for our helpers.

As well as the feijoa orchard we have a large home orchard and vege gardens, chickens for eggs, some cattle and sometimes pigs.

Visitors must be good with dogs as our dog Posh is a large inside friendly dog and she is a big part of our family.

We have Wi-fi available, a river to swim in, spa pool and plenty of open space for you to enjoy in your free time and of course we are quite close to all the Marlborough wineries if you fancy tasting some wine.

Non Smokers only!

We are situated less than 10 mins drive from Renwick so we can pick you up from there or Blenheim (20 mins away) if you don't have transport.

We often have visitors staying so accommodation will be in our comfy cabin. We will provide 3 meals a day and snacks, good accommodation and a friendly atmosphere in return for 4-5 hours work a day. ... more inside

Our mainland island used to be a large sheep station but we have now let it go back to nature. A major activity apart from our conservation work is catering for visitors who come to get closer to nature in a wild and beautiful place. Work can be looking after those guests, helping with correspondence schooling, home duties or maintaining our track system and other infrastructure, depending on the season.

this is an exclusive retreat located in the Marlborough Sounds. We are located in Kahikatea East Bay and only accessed by boat. To arrive here is just a 15 minute boat ride from our berth at Waikawa Bay, or 25 minutes from the front in Picton. We are positioned just metres from the tide and have views directly across the Sound. Our helpers would typically be asked to assist with general maintenance or hosting associated activities. In their spare time they are welcome to kayak, swim, fish or just enjoy the idealic surroundings. You could even be visited by our Dolphin friends who call in quite often.Due to the nature of our business, we cannot cater for helpers with special dietary requiremnets that take additonal time.

We are looking for two or more people who would like to join our team in a remote (access only be boat) part of the Marlborough Sounds.

We also have projects in the garden and other interesting things going on if the applicant wanted some variety of work this is the place.

This is a live in position with all meals and accommodation provided. Hello Traveller!
We're located in Endeavour Inlet, right on the 70km Queen Charlotte Track/Te Araroa Trail, in Marlborough, where there are no roads, no cars. If you enjoy nature and relative isolation, you'll love our slice of paradise. We are surrounded by native forest and pristine bays. You can arrive via water taxi (departing from Picton) or walk the Track to reach us. Once you're here you'll have free meals and accommodation during your stay.

Our preference is for a mature, independent individual, prepared to work 4 hrs with us in the morning, and share cooking the evening meals. The rest of the day is yours to explore the surroundings. You can borrow one of our kayaks or just relax. You will have your own bedroom either in the house with access to wifi, or a separate sleep out with composting loo. We have a small organic garden and much of our meat is also organic (locally caught venison and pork).

We support the local Endeavour Inlet Conservation Trust - see the Fac... more inside

Greg is looking for people to help.
He could use someone in the next few weeks.

There is lamb work to do, weed spraying and the other usual tasks.

Greg is the son of Helen & Ron.

Greg has shifted into the main house and could use some help in gardens in house for the right person. Otherwise people stay in Blenheim with Helen & Ron and be taken out to work.

We are a sheep and beef farm with a vineyard. Our farm is situated in a lovely Awatere valley with beautiful views and you will be welcomed into the family.

Prefer a week at least, will accept shorter times, absolutely non smoking and drug free.
We are about 30km south of Blenheim and 6km from the township of Seddon, and 4km from state highway one, south island. So it is easy to pick you up in Seddon or if it suits Blenheim.

Check the website for photos and an idea of our farm and family.

Accommodation is in either of houses as no stand alone accommodation as yet.

We are a family owned business that takes... more inside
