Hi,

We are looking for someone to come stay and help us around the camp for a few days in November.
To help stacking firewood, dig a few holes, would prefer males as its heavy work.
A female partner ok as I need some windows cleaned etc.

You will have your own cabin with double bed and linen. We will provide 3 meals per day in exchange for four hours work per day.
Our cookhouse is well equipped with sky TV, cell phone coverage and wifi so you can have your own private space when you want.

We are very remote so own vehicle is required if you want to go exploring in your time off.

We are located in a quiet village with plenty of Hunting and Fishing in one of New Zealand's most beautiful locations.
We are surrounded by beautiful mountains currently covered in snow right on the edge of Fiordland National Park.

Hello I live in a small suburb, a wee sanctuary in the bush near a beach. My house is a quirky wee place, peaceful with native bush and birds. I am 7 kms from Invercargill towards the beach and 4 km to the beach. The photos of my house are old ones before I rented the house out. You would have your own room.

I returned from Europe and Africa after several years away and I am still re-establishing my house and garden.I have been a helper travelling and I loved it and now I thought I would try hosting.

I will not always be here with you during the day so you will have to be able to work on your own and enjoy your own company. There is no transport in to Invercargill but you could try hitching or I can give you a ride or pick you up. I do have a bike.

I would require up to 4 hours work at the most a day with weekends off. We can talk about that as I will not always be able to cook during the day so see what you think. But I can provide food. There is a 4 square diary and a ta... more inside

Hello and welcome,
We are a family owned dairy farm milking around 440 cows. We have teenagers at home and often a school exchange student. As we are also homeschoolers, there is always something happening. We try to maintain a holistic approach to farming but we are not organic. We are looking for singles or couples that can contribute to our busy farming household and can stay from one to several weeks. In the near future there will be tractor driving, planting , gardening and general maintenance happening. If that sounds like you, don't hesitate to email us. We would love to accommodate you. We also have gardening and general farm labour, building, engineering or painting. We are happy to teach or upskill anyone who wants to seek dairy or farm employment or learn to drive a tractor. Our Dairy is a very modern well equipped rotary with a water recycling and effluent minimisation system.
We are situated around an hour from Te Anau and Manapouri areas and also Invercargill. Durin... more inside

We are a family of 4 on a sheep and beef farm. We're a friendly bunch who enjoy meeting new people. We'd love some help on the farm, around the home (maintenance/housework) and in the garden. Each days work would vary. Handy experience in painting, fencing, chainsaw use and a willing and able attitude will be an advantage. It is essential that you have travel insurance. We'd prefer non smoking and drugs wont be tolerated. You must provide your own vehicle. For 4-6 hours work a day, 4 days a week you will get lunch and dinner 4 days a week and accommodation that is self contained with a spacious double bedroom, kitchen, toilet and shower. Occasionally the kitchen will be shared with contract workers and ourselves.
We're situated in beautiful Eastern Southland 20 min's drive to Gore, 2 hours to Dunedin, Queenstown and 1 hour 10mins to Invercargill. Minimum stay 1 week.
We're really looking forward to hearing from you.
Chris and Mairead

We are primarily an intensive sheep farm with commercial and stud flocks - breeding rams to sell.

We are both well traveled, our two boys are away overseas and at university. We often have overseas trainees and visitors and find that there are periods of the year, that we have room for wwoofers to give extra help around the house, garden and on the farm.

Right now, we need a helper who is available IMMEDIATELY, who is fit and strong and ready to help over the tailing period. It's a fun team job but requires high level of fitness and capability. As from Monday October 23rd - preferably for about 2 weeks. You will need to be happy to feed calves and lambs as well. Also pitch in with whatever is happening on the farm and where needed.

The ideal people would be adaptable and practical, not queasy of new born animals, not scared of getting your hands dirty, etc... We can teach you everything. We enjoy folk who are team players - fun, motivated, fit, enthusiastic, pract... more inside

This property is 10 acres with a large character homestead (circa 1929), which was once part of the historic Lynwood Station. The home has many period features, including wood panel wardrobes, bay windows and a number of fire places and two wood burners. Outside there is one large paddock deer fenced, with a well established garden with recently planted natives, orchard, mature specimen trees, a tunnel house, chook house, pig sty and "potentially" a large vegetable garden.

The property is just 9 Km from Te Anau itself(the largest lake in the South Island and second largest in New Zealand) which is the gateway to Fiordland and the majestic Lake Manapouri. The Keplar Track is nearby with other tramps a little further away like the start of the Routeburn and Caples Greenstone tracks at the Divide. The Mavora Lakes are also not that far away, a popular camping spot in the summer. Of course we are on the main High way to Milford.

We have recently purchased the property. We are ... more inside
