Hi we live in a lovely warm home on 3/4 of an acre that we are working on making self sufficient and off the grid. We have a adorable 12 year old girl who is trouble and loves meeting people from other cultures. Also loads of animals.

Work to be carried out is basic building work, house extension, gardening and some general not so heavy work. If you can swing a hammer and don't need a run up then we have some work for you and an awesome place to stay in the country.

we have an awesome little caravan for people to sleep in that gives you your own space also while we build some more rooms.

we are looking for people who are self motivated, good fun and like to partake in the family.

look forward to meeting you.

We are looking for a Helper or two that can start anytime.

We live on a beautiful property surrounded by native bush. We have large gardens, fruit and nut trees, also berry fruits and more.

We have a stream running through the property which we'll eventually use to generate power, already have solar set up. Now generating hot water from our fire - for free - and shower inside!

We're looking for happy easygoing people to help us out with daily tasks. We keep this place pretty well maintained so nothing is too hard or laborious.

Accommodation here is an almost finished self-contained colonial style sleepout, it has a loft which can sleep 2, also bedding for one or two downstairs.

Oh, we have a wee one named Evie. . she's 6, and awesome! Very friendly, fun and loves people!

One thing we do ask, is that people arrive in the morning and not evening.

4 - 5 hrs per day and we don't usually ask people to work in the rain.

We cook nice meals!

Give us a bell, I'm ... more inside

Come and experience a NZ coastal farm, and.... we have a beautiful, sandy, safe beach for you to enjoy =)

We are currently looking for one or two people to come and help about the place on for 4-7 nights during May.

About us - we are a family of five with three children aged 5, 8 & 9 yrs. We live in Lavericks Bay, where we run a 1500 hectare sheep and cattle farm, and tourist accommodation in the form of a glamping site - http://www.canopycamping.co.nz/lavericks-bay

Lavericks Bay is about 35 min from the historic township of Akaroa, and 1.75hrs from Christchurch. Lavericks Bay has a population of nine people (five being us) so there is plenty of peace and quiet. We also have a lovely sandy, safe swimming beach where you may spot seals, Hector Dolphins, our resident Yellow Eyed Penguin, and plenty of other birdlife. We have a kayak you may also use which is great fun for exploring and surfing in the waves, weather permitting...

You will be required to do about four hours ... more inside

Kia Ora.
We love sharing our paradise on a privately owned wildlife reserve with helpers from all over the world. It gives us the chance of virtual travel, learning about so many different countries.

Most of the help we need throughout the year is to maintain our gardens and orchards around the homestead. We operate sustainably which requires intensive labour and results in healthy food to share.

If you can help, we can offer accommodation as we have a rustic self-contained cabin for your use. We can supply some homegrown food, however, you will need to be prepared to provide some of your own meals.

We are both kiwis who have a passion for the natural environment. We can share the flora and fauna of Banks Peninsula, a stunning swimming beach, fresh eggs, seasonal fruit and vegetables, and choices of walking tracks through native bush on Banks Peninsula's "wildside".

The people we would like to share this place with will be nature lovers, especially those keen to get o... more inside

A beautiful property by a river, backing onto a reserve and garden. A very peaceful place with an enchanted feel about it.

We are a family of 2, myself Valerie, mother of a delightful 4 year old child, Issa . We have also 2 dogs, bichons frises, Willow and Banjo We love having visitors!

The help needed would be easy gardening work. Anyone with building skills to bring that would be welcomed as we are planning to do up a garage at the moment.

I look forward to meeting whoever is drawn to coming to visit us. We live in a very beautiful part of the country.

Oh gosh i need some help please!Help would be much appreciated in my large (messy) garden. It's on 1 acre and its not a farm stay although we do have chickens and bees and plenty of birds! This is a steep property on a beautiful site, with a large house in the sun (mostly). It's 20 minutes walking distance from Akaroa. There are many great walks in the area and we are in the heart of many great hiking tracks.

I appreciate the help with the many jobs there are to do. At the moment I have plenty of weed eating (grass cutting) work and gardening.

As I am working full time I prefer 2 helpers (a couple or 2 handy blokes) at once who can work together or people who don't mind working on their own. Also people who are happy to cook for themselves too, as I am very busy.
There is plenty to do and it is great spot. Akaroa is a great place to be... check out www.akaroa.com
