Andrew and I live in a beautiful modern spacious home with two studios and a peaceful view of green fields and a small lake, bordered by Wapengo Creek. We love to host travelers from other countries. You will see kangaroos, lots of bird life, and other native animals. We have a dog, and three horses. We'd like you to help prepare meals and clean up afterwards, and do four hours work per day such as gardening, house work, building projects, chopping wood, clearing bush, pulling up weeds, and planting trees. We'd prefer helpers willing to do physical work outdoors and housework. We live close to idyllic national park beaches and coastal villages. We are easy going and both work away from home so you might be by yourself sometimes. You will have a bedroom, ensuite and lounge area. We have internet, free wifi and tv options such as Netflix. Andrew is a musician so we also have a grand piano, keyboard, guitars etc. We mainly eat vegetarian food, if you dietary requirements let us know.

Looking for that special someone who adores and enjoys spending time with Dogs to help out with the day to day activities of our Show/Breeding Kennel. Work is not difficult and lots of opportunities for Canine cuddles and Puppy Play. Our Dogs, although a full on energetic Breed are generally well behaved, well mannered, and are always happy. Some are House dogs, so you MUST be comfortable with this and having 'Lap Time' as they LOVE cuddles. This all means that you must love Dogs enough to make an effort to 'connect' with them in a POSITIVE manner while at our Home.

We appreciate a minimum of 2 weeks as it takes time to learn the routine. We are a Friendly welcoming Couple, who have had many years Hosting BackPackers, with many Friends made and return Visits.

While we do NOT believe in taking advantage of our Helpers ever, we do love those who get in and really help take the pressure off our very full days (not add to it)....Initiative, Responsibility and Attention to Detail ... more inside

Dear friend and HelpXer,

after moving down the Coast, I’m now living in Woy Woy (only one hour north of Sydney). If you come here and help me in my house and garden, you can experience the great Central Coast region with beautiful beaches and lovely national parks. For helping me in my house, I offer you one room with one queen sized bed and your own TV (with access to my whole movie library) and fast internet access. I will provide you with food to cook for you and me three times a day. Your daily tasks would be cooking, shopping and gardening and looking after me. If you have transportation.....great! Otherwise just a short walk to shops or beach.

I am looking forward to hearing from you and hope to see you December.....
Cheers...Janet

***italiani particolarmente benvenuti***

Our property is a couple of kilometres outside the village of Nimbin in the beautiful Northern Rivers region of NSW - half an hour from Lismore, 45 minutes from Murwillumbah, an hour from Byron Bay/Ballina, and just over an hour from Coolangatta airport.

We are establishing a subtropical house garden on about one acre. We would appreciate help with the construction of a storm-water drain for rainwater run-off near the house, chainsawing fallen trees, weeding, brush-cutting (whipper snippering) and planting ornamental gardens. Help with oiling the decking would also be appreciated.

Help with endemic weed species eradication, particularly along the creek, is urgently required. Small-leaf privet, lantana and giant devil's figs are starting to gain a foothold and need to be severely dealt with!

People with TRACTOR-DRIVING SKILLS are particularly welcome as our creek flats require frequent slashing.

We are two retired gay men. C... more inside
