Hello and welcome to beautiful Olinda.

Note: It is not expected that one person can do all these tasks but I look forward to hearing from any skilled and experienced Helpx candidates who have a passion for gardening, tree lopping, repairing fences, building dry stone and bluestone walls and constructing a wood shed.

I have accommodation available for a couple or two travelling friends or single male or female helpers.

Also helpers with their own campervan or camping gear are most welcome.

Accommodation and all meals are provided in exchange for six (6) hours of work per person, per day for five days per week, followed by two days off.

Most of the work is outside and currently I am seeking an experienced gardener or arborist or stonemason or carpenter/builder/handyman.

The gardener is required to help maintain and beautify the large garden. Garden maintenance duties include: use a whipper snipper to tidy garden edges, drive a ride on mower to cut grass, use a leaf b... more inside

We are a small acreage about 100km northeast of Melbourne, with orchard, olive grove, chickens, sheep, large vegie gardens, two spoilt dogs and a cat.
Would love some help with weeding in the vegie gardens and ornamental gardens, preparing beds for planting and generally keeping the farm and gardens tidy and mulched. I would like more time to put out biodynamic preparations too.We have a hot house where we propagate seedlings to sell and plant in the vegie garden.
Barbara is a great cook and we run a catering business from home. In mid january we will be starting a woodfired piza cafe with our new business partners Jess and Chris who also live on site. There may be some help needed in the kitchen but we do have paid staff for this most of the time. For those with the skills, there may be some home maintenance jobs.
We often go down to Melbourne and you are welcome to tag along and visit the Victoria Market, or stay home and explore the beauty of our mountain ranges and rivers. I... more inside

On the go during August is fencing on the farm and some building work and painting around the house. During September we will be building a new chook yard and our cows will be calving so there will be cute little calves to check on each day.
The garden is bursting into life so there is plenty of pruning and maintenance and some steps to build so if you like the sound of any of these jobs then please read on :)

We live in the mountains of north east Victoria, one hours drive from Albury Wodonga. It's a really pretty place with rivers and creeks and friendly people. Our garden is what needs the most work as there is about 4 acres of it and we open it up to the public for some of the year. We have a large collection of medicinal plants and like to teach people about how they were used to heal in the past.
We like to do artistic things, we make our own soap and always have building projects on the go.
The gardens are magnificently landscaped and include a water lily covered lake ... more inside

Looking for a couple of helpers to tidy up a farm house (painting, gardening etc). As you will not be sharing our home you will have an entire house to yourselves with 4 bedrooms 2 bathroom and we will provide food etc and what ever you need to live in the house. We are near the the twelve apostles and the otways rainforest in s/w victoria. As there is no public transport in the area if you do not have a car exploring will be difficult.
But if you are happy to just chill and watch the ducks on the dam and walk around the farm and relax we can pick u up from the nearest train station we could also talk about some wages to fund your trip.

Gerda & Eric Helpx,
We have an acreage of land set amongst farmland (mostly grain farming) in Bannockburn which is approximately 90km from Melbourne. The closest city is Geelong, which is 20km away. Bannockburn can be reached by bus from Geelong. We are close to The Great Ocean road, Bells Beach & quaint coastal villages.

A little bit about ourselves: we are a retired couple who have lived in Victoria for the past 10 years. We moved here from Queensland to be closer to our grandchildren. Our daughter & son in law are on the farm and we are close by to help out with the children. Eric has a sailboat (which you will no doubt will be going out on in Geelong Bay) he was a boat builder when we lived in France and now uses those skills to do DIY projects around the house. I (Gerda) enjoy spending my time in the garden, looking after my grandchildren & travelling around the world.

We recently enjoyed the company of 4 helpex’es to help us with our garden. ... more inside

AVAILABLE from 26.January 2018

Hi everyone,
We are looking for 1 person for a demi-aupair position. Male or female to help with household chores and occasional babysitting. Experience with children necessary, must be good at cleaning and cooking would be great! Our 3 boys are 2, 5 and 7 years old.
You will have your own room and bathroom upstairs.
I'm a professional photographer originally from Czech Republic. I work flexible hours, my husband is a horticulturist. We live 5 min walk from a train and bus station, Melbourne city is 15 mins by train. There is Williamstown beach 10 mins by car/train. Shops and cafes 10 min walk. It is not a big house, so if you are not used to live close with a family and kids, you would probably struggle. We require 15 hours work in exchange for accommodation and food.
We do have a WIFI.
My husband also occasionally needs help at his gardening business, so payed work is a possibility. It is heavy manual work, so that one is for male candidate... more inside
