Help is needed - mowing down grass and raking up, picking up sticks, weeding/watering gardens..., plus I always need help making new compost piles and generally building soil fertility. I also have some creative metal and timber projects on the go. Also..., I can teach you what I've learnt about organic growing methods, permaculture, sustainable living and generally "low impact" making the most of your own land.

There are many private and peaceful camping places here..., some camp sites have turn-around space for large vehicle and caravan or bus. All camp sites have a bit of private bush space around them. One camp is beside a winter creek(May-Dec) and has an outdoor "Kimberly Kitchen" with sink and solar shower(rainwater). There are also a choice of toilet facilities..., and so long as the sun is shinning there is free electricity during daylight hours. This small farm is a great location to base yourself if you're wanting to sample some genuine ... more inside

We are looking for happy people to stay with us a week or two. Helping out around the house and in the garden. We are a small household of a couple with a energetic and happy dog who still thinks he is a puppy who loves going for walks anywhere he can. We do not supply meals as we don't expect you to do more than a couple of hours of work every day. The goal is to get out and explore or just chill

I have a lovely green small horse agistment property that is located on the coast between Bunbury and Busselton and is close to the South West tourist region. My place is close to the ocean and backs onto a National Park Tuart Forrest.
This property is being set up for Holiday Rental and AirBnB so I am looking for someone to help out with general jobs such as painting, cleaning etc in exchange for accomodation and meals (3-4hrs per day).
If you have any building experience that would be good. I can accommodate a couple but prefer one female. You will have your own room and will be part of my family while here. Your own car would be good to get around a explore but itís not essential.. This is a great spot to stay for a few days or longer while organising other travel/job options in the South West .. The 36 cottages in this former 1950s timber town now provide holiday accommodation. We have just recommenced taking in Help-Xers starting February 2017. Staying here provides a glimpse of the Australian way of life from the 1950's.
The wildlife around the village is abundant and very tame - particularly the kangaroos, emus and parrots who may be fed by hand. There are also possums at night.
We are located in the Karri forest 30 minutes from Bridgetown or Manjimup (both have bus links to Perth) and offer magnificent forest walks and silent starry nights.
An enthusiastic small team operates the business. Accommodation is rustic, in old mill cottages with one common television in the village and limited mobile phone reception. Our accommodation for you may vary from a dormitory/bunkroom, staying in the manager's house or one of our cottages. We'll supply plenty of food to cook your own meals at your leisure, as well as 30 minutes of internet access a day. In return we ask for ... more inside
