We are a small, family run, local food cafe/bistro on the island of St Martins in the Isles of Scilly, Cornwall. Most the food we sell is grown and produced on our smallholding and then freshly prepared in our kitchen. The cafe is open from April til October each summer (the main tourist season), but we sometimes take helpers on in the winter months to assist with farm and/or maintenance work, etc.

We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic people to help with all aspects...waiting tables, cleaning, cooking, helping out on the farm, ect. The majority of the work is front of house, waitressing and cleaning the premises but if there is an interest/capability we are happy to train longer term helpers to assist with the cooking or helping out on the farm. Helpers with experience with front of house work would be preferred but not essential. Looking for friendly, outgoing people who love good food and can provide service with a smile!
Helpers will have food provided from the cafe ... more inside

Hi I'm running a unique and beautiful Bed & Breakfast with 3 luxury ensuite double rooms and a Shepherd's Hut, on the edge of Dartmoor and about 1 Km from the delightful village of South Brent, with shops and pubs. Garfield is a big quirky old house with beautiful views and a large garden.

As well as the B&B business, I play semi-professional jazz and rock around the area. It's getting a bit too much to handle!

I would love some help with preparing breakfasts, clearing and washing up, changing rooms over, cleaning and laundry. Would expect 4 hours help each day with 2 days off per week, in exchange for full lodging (i.e. food and accommodation). There are not guests every day. On days when there is no-one staying, the work would be various household tasks, including cleaning, tidying, laundry, ironing, gardening and possibly building renovation, keeping the place beautiful. I wouldn't expect you to carry out all the work for the B&B as I do much myself and also already have so... more inside

We are looking for one person as soon as possible and also for most dates for the rest of 2018.

Whilst we do prefer longer stays we will occasionally take people for as little as 3 weeks. But not less than 3 weeks.

We have a small holding in Devon where we keep poultry (Chickens, various ducks, and geese) and bees. We also have cats who share our house. We have a small orchard and a Kitchen Garden plus an acre of gardens. The poultry are not for eating, but do provide us with a plentiful supply of eggs.
Although not self sufficient in fruit and vegetables we do try to grow what we can, so there is usually fresh veg in season.

All that we do here is on an organic basis often growing heritage varieties of fruit and vegetables.

The help that we need on a daily basis involves care of the poultry:
Letting them out in the morning, 8am, checking they have sufficient clean water, collecting and dating eggs.
Feeding and watering them in the evening and shutting them in t... more inside
