EXTRA PAIR OF HANDS WANTED IN EXCHANGE FOR ROOM & BOARD - WATERFRONT COTTAGE PROPERTY - Northern Ontario, Canada GREAT SCENERY -LEISURELY PACE

BC is not the only place with Great Scenery and there is a lot less rain here. Hope you will give us a chance to show you what we are talking about.

We live on an unspoiled pristine lake in a wilderness forest area in northern Ontario Canada and are looking for a guy who is a motivated "Volunteer Visitor" who is an easy-going self starter and does not smoke and eats regular food.

The opportunity we offer would be ideal for someone who loves the tranquil setting of a lakeside home surrounded by hundreds of square miles of protected forest and enjoys being in and on the water (or would like to experience "the land of ice and snow" in winter). For continuity, we prefer long term visitors and presently have an opening starting at the end of May, 2018 through to September and beyond. (We will be looking for someone to start at th... more inside

WHAT HELPX MEANS TO ME: Giving HelpXers a chance to be creative, inventive, resourceful and independent, given access to the extensive machinery and equipment that is available. Sure, the camaraderie and companionship are important, as are the opport... more inside

Permaculture Nursery seeking help from May 1st until mid-September, 2018.
Our nursery supplies plants and resources for edible landscapes. We have demonstration gardens that we eat from, and workshops on how to design low-maintenance, self-fertile edible ecosystems. We practice permaculture and forest gardening, and we're trying to make a productive homestead that's also ecologically rich and diverse. We love experimenting with new plants and have extensive experience growing a wide range of unusual and delicious edibles. Accommodations are in a little cabin. It's a few steps from the wild Beaver river where you can swim or go canoeing. We're located in the Beaver Valley, which is a beautiful, natural and very wild piece of the Niagara Escarpment. Come join the fun!

Looking for fun and helpful individuals interested in visiting Toronto. Looking for company and some general help around the house.

You will do things like cleaning, cooking, laundry, ironing, errands and the like - around 2-3 hours each day - without my needing to chase after you. Might also be interested in any special skills you have.

You will be sleeping in my living room. I have a cot for you to use, as well as a couch, should you prefer that. The neighborhood is known as Little Jamaica or Eglinton West. There is a Tim Hortons downstairs, two pharmacies across the street, and a big library, supermarket and a couple banks are a couple blocks away.

I generally prefer that you are back by late evening so we can hang out. You can stay out late occasionally, with a general weekday curfew of 1030pm and weekend curfew of 1130pm. This is not the place to stay if you are hoping to be out clubbing etc regularly.

Offering space to stay and as much coffee as you can handle. Th... more inside

Hey everybody
My name is Josef Theiler and this is Theiler farm. We milk 70 cows, and 250 goats twice a day, 365 days a year and work about 400 acres. There is always plenty of work to do, from feeding the calves and cows to bedding, maintenance, tidying up,housework, yardwork, tractor driving, carpentry and mechanics. I have a passion for inventing things and automation, with a well equipped ( though somewhat disorganized )workshop. The work arrangements are pretty flexible, I don't like to count hours, so usually we work when there is work but we also try to make time for some fun. During the summer months we go to local fairs and events, the occasional boat ride or water skiing, and there are always beers in the fridge. You will get to see what farming is really like. I am willing to teach you whatever you'd like to learn, if you put in a good effort. Special preference given to anyone with a trade, mechanics, builders, plumbers etc, there is always something to do with Possibili... more inside

LOOKING FOR HELPERS FOR MINIMUM 2.5 WEEKS STAY from now THROUGH NOVEMBER, 2018

This is a gorgeous 600 acre property on the northern edge of Algonquin Park. The beautiful Amable du Fond River flows through our farm. Our farm is a sanctuary for buffalo, 15 rescued horses, and cattle.
We run three unique accommodations which we currently rent out. We have two custom built yurts onsite and a tipi. We are working to develop our property into an agri-eco destination with out-of-the-ordinary overnight accommodations, wonderful experiences for our guests with nature and animals, and a micro-brewery.

If you feel confident that we can help each other, I would really encourage you to get in touch. It'll be a true and unique Canadian experience.

Starting now we will be undertaking the building of a 30x40 foot 'cruck frame' timber frame building - to house our brewery. This is a beautiful building architecturally speaking, and one of the strongest and longest lasting of all styles f... more inside
