After 15 years traveling, I decided to renovate a little countryside house on a 4000 square meters land by the river and the forest to have our little nest.
My almost 14 years old twins (a boy and a girl) are this year all week long in a boarding school and I do work here, since 5 years.
I would need a help to finish because I really want to do other things, as learning shoes and bags making and other usefullthings and travel again.
I need help from easygoing and independent people who know walls and flor coating, a little tiling, building walls, gardening, maybe cooking, carpentry, ...
A beautiful private wooden space a few meters away from the house is disponible, bathroom and wifi is in the house.

Hello,

I am a single mother of 3 and looking for someone who can help me with the kids keeping the house tidy(ish) cook a few meals and last but not least babysit at least once a week sometimes overnight.Sometimes by surprise, but usually warned in advance:)!
In exchange for food, board and some french in the house. I am a highshool english teacher. I am looking for someone who can stay for the summer season from nowish till september/october. but just a few weeks is great too as i am a bit desperate!
You would need a drivers license as we live in a village 25km from Carcassonne. To enjoy your stay here it is best to have a car or rent one to be able to visit the countryside and have the freedom a car gives you.
You would have a bedroom, shared bathroom and private acces to your room from the street. Two of you can come but I can only aford the costs for one person. I'd need a little help with the shopping costs and electricity bill for the extra person. (i never splurge and te... more inside

Hi there. Please help! We recently bought an old house which has a large garden. Unfortunately it has been left alone for a long time and now I need help to get into some order. I am looking for a couple with experience in gardening or landscaping (I know nothing about gardening!) who can help with raking, cutting back, turning over, general maintenance, strimming, weeding and tidying. We live in a lovely village with a cafe, a few kms from the market town of Quillan. There is a double bedroom and private lounge with Sky TV. As I work everyday, I need people who can work independently. Advice on the garden would also be appreciated. We are family with 2 daughters, a dog , 2 cats and a tortoise. The local area is beautiful with lots of walking and cycling trails, there is a 1euro bus/train to the amazing city of Carcassonne and a local market twice a week. I am looking for a couple who can come for a week to 10 days in the beginning of May or the beginning of June and get the garden ... more inside

Having now moved on from our bed and breakfast, in which we were lucky enough to host for some wonderful people, we have now started a new project by the river gardon, just upstream from the world famous "Pont du Gard" unesco monument.
We'd very much appreciate help in making this new place into something special, and hope to get to know some new and interesting friends on the way.

If that appeals to you, please get in touch

We have sold our smallholding on the Isle of Wight and have bought a property in the foothills of the Pyrenees in France which we have converted to Bed & Breakfast.

The area is fantastic for all outdoor activities and easily accessible by public transport - check out the things to do section on our web site.

We are looking for help between the end of May to the middle of July. You will help with the running of the bed & breakfast; including cleaning and the serving of breakfasts and evening meals. There may also be some outdoor work including gardening and, Anya our dog loves a nice long walk.

Ideally, we are looking for people who appreciate the value of cleanliness and friendliness when dealing with guests at a Bed & Breakfast - we have very high standards (we don't say that to put you off but it's crucial to our success so far - have a look at our reviews on booking 'dot' com and Trip Advisor).

Most of our guests are French or Catalan so the ability to speak one of th... more inside

Last year (2016) was concerned with renovating the old and leaky roof, and my previous guests in 2015, who were all SOOO helpful and talented, (Andrew & Lynn - thank you both so much) were lovely company and I'm deeply grateful for all their help. Andy and Suze were also delightful and gave much pleasure with their natural enthusiasm. I also had an excellent week with a really nice guy from America. Mark was great company, absolutely reliable and so willing to help and I am very, very grateful for the efforts he made to get the roof covered before the rains came.

The property comprises a picturesque converted farm building built of wood and stone nestling in extensive wooded grounds high on the valley hillside in the Pyrenees-Orientales with awesome views of the sacred Mount Canigou, the historic village of Eus and the surrounding mountain range.

Within a walkable distance to the nearby town, an hour away from the City of Perpignan and . Mediterranean Coast, 2 hours from And... more inside
