Hello,
I am looking for a practical person to help me with finish the renovation of my house. Tasks would include general maintenance, sanding, decorating, the competant use of power tools and if desired gardening.

I can offer you the use of an attic room and will prepare meals when I am about and freedom to the contents of my fridge when I am not! I can also do a bit of ferrying around so you get to see the local towns and sights. In exchange I would like 3-5 days a week work.

I live in a terrace house in a border village in wales close to majestic beauty spots and places of interest. We have local shops, walking opportunities, public transport and are 20 mins away from train stations. There are two local pubs but not a big night life unless you go further a field, its basically quiet here!

The wild bee project is coming along well, but we are hoping to put in a lot more effort this year - especially over Easter 2015. The long term aim is a centre that would be open to the public, but it is very early stages yet. The bees are here and a nursery of bee friendly plants has been started. We are also experimenting with nesting boxes above and below ground. I am also looking for help with the grounds: putting in paths, a re-organisation of the herb & flower areas. The spring fed pond is still looking for someone with knowledge to get this free of mud and sludge.
General work loads include getting wood down from the woodland and maybe some coppicing with help from our local transition group.House and caravan -some basic maintenance + larger projects: including the finishing of a bed-sit room above my hay barn, Most skills could be utilised as can a willingness to muck in. Whatever, you will be made welcome.

I have a small converted dairy as the main house with a lovely ... more inside

We are in the process of converting an old chapel into our new home. The main language used in the house is English. However, my son Charlie is also fluent in Welsh. We have 6 chickens and 3 dogs. We are easy going, friendly and enjoy the outdoors.
the chapel is nearly finished and the work is done at a slow, relaxed pace. we have no set hours or work days and only ask that you help out when and where you can. the work is however generally quite physical.

We have great views, long walks and lots of fresh Welsh air and would also be happy for helpers to join us when we visit local places or have days out. We eat out sometimes and helpers are welcome to join us.

The chapel has wi-fi so please feel free to use it while taking a break.

Long or short stays are fine.

We are a couple.. Tom (35) and Jacqui (30). We were both bought up in Wales.

We are starting to build our dream farm, having finally found the perfect site for our plans. It is a sheltered, south facing slope in Pembrokeshire, with a history of organic management. There is a strong-flowing clean spring and the soil is excellent.
We have been given planning permission for a dwelling under the new Wales-wide 'One Planet Development' policy which offers people the chance to build a home in the country if they can demonstrate a commitment to various low-impact, environmentally responsible principles while also providing for the monetary needs of the household with a 'land-based livelihood' (in our case a tree nursery and processed fruit business) and the production of a large proportion of one's own food and fuel etc. All of which suits us perfectly!

Our plot is nine acres. It will include:
-A 2 acre nut orchard
-A plant tree nursery specialising in fruit trees
-Around 3 ac... more inside

A beautiful farmhouse just outside the historic market town of Ruthin. Myself and my two children(13 and 14) live here with two dogs, a horse and a donkey. This place had been empty for 10 years before we moved in and help is needed with restoring a vintage caravan, chainsaw pruning of neglected fruit trees, gardening and doing up a garage. We host occasional events in the orchard and Taoist training courses which you are welcome to join in on and this is quite a fun place to be. There is no minimum stay, larger groups can be accommodated in tents in the orchard, and board and lodging is provided in return for a few hours help per day.

Small family run campsite

We would love for one to two persons to come and help during our busy period. We would like 2 hours work per day in exchange for 1 nights camping for up to two people (you would need to bring your own tent & camping equipment and feed yourselves)
the rest of the day is yours to do with as you wish. The campsite is within the snowdonia national park so there is plenty to do and see.

We are happy to consider any length of time within the months of may, June, July & August

The work will be a mixture of cleaning toilets, sorting rubbish, and land management (ie clearing invasive plants, and possible clearing of brush (fallen deadwood) in our woodland area

We are a dog friendly campsite if you want to bring a pet with you
