I run a vintage Tearooms from May to October in the small town of Newport, Co. Mayo. We are on the Great Western Greenway and our customers are mostly cyclists and walkers. All our produce are locally sourced and our baking is all homemade. All dishes are served on bone china. We grow most of our herbs and some salad vegetables. We are looking for one or two people with customer service, catering and waitressing experience preferably. We have a restored cottage to accommodate two people, for one month stay. Visit us on Facebook link above.
Good conversational English essential.
We offer helpxers private accommodation in a charming restored cottage at the rear of our premises with 2 bedrooms, kitchen/living room and shower room with toilet.

We will provide food/groceries for helpxer who can cook their own meals in their own kitchen.

A Georgian house built in 1802 with a victorian watermill and home to us and a number of dogs

As with all old buildings it is all a labour of love. We are currently living in a cottage and looking for people to help us repaint the house and tidy out some barns

With dogs and horses, there are animals to help with and fly fishing on the mill pond and river for the real enthusiast.

You will be living in the mill, in a dorm style bedroom, there is a recreation room bathroom facilities are on the other side of the courtyard but all life in this house revolves around the kitchen.

We are looking for people to help us during April and May of this year, we are painting and generally tidying up so its not technical or requires any great skills

Durrow is halfway between Dublin and Cork, and we are happy to help with transport to and from Portlaoise and Kilkenny.

We are looking for somebody who is happy to live with us and to generally muck in. We would like you to work a... more inside

Mid-March 2018 Offer: Hello travellers. I am looking for someone who genuinely wants to get stuck in helping with indoor painting and outdoor gardening and minding my lovely collie in exchange for a stint in a spacious farmhouse and Cabin sunroom enjoying early spring in West Cork?? Building, DIY and timber skills would be an added and awesome bonus!!! Sing out if you think you’re the right, good-natured and genuinely willing kind of person I’m hoping to host.

Dec Xmas offer - I can offer a spacious homestead for 2 weeks over Christmas in exchange for minding my dog - I don't expect any work but equally I don't want to incur any hosting costs. It could give someone a cosy low cost Christmas option with the delightful company of a very charming, big hearted collie into the bargain!

Sept/Oct 2017 Request for a carpenter - is there a good carpenter out there at all, willing to lend his/her expertise??!! Please please get in touch if so and I'll tell you more about the project ... more inside

We live in an old farmhouse in the beautiful countryside of West Cork, about a mile from a small village with good pubs! We are a lesbian family. Our two lovely girls are aged five and eight. The area where we live is very beaitiful, full of musicians, artists and writers. In terms of what we are hoping for, there are lots of things you can help us with! So a couple or pair of friends would be ideal. We prefer helpers with experience of helpx or childcare.
In terms of help, we are always looking for help in the garden, with the animals and vegetables, and in the house with housework and childcare. Home maintenance, possibly some painting etc around the house would be great. Plenty of more creative projects possible (but not necessary!) such as stone work, murals etc for those who are interested, and we value your input and ideas. Especially over the summer we would need some help to mind our children while we work, we often work from home so one of us would be near most of the ti... more inside
