All Welcome, as long as you are a cheerful person ;-) COUPLES very welcome!

Hello, I'm Toni ;-) Located one hour from Melbourne city, Kalorama is in the Dandenong ranges. If you are looking for a homestay experience in a quiet semi-rural mountain area, where for the most part you will work independently, this may be the place for you. Jobs to be done involve gardening, cooking, cleaning and outdoor work. For anyone who has handyman/woman skills there are also other small jobs. The home is set on a modest third of an acre block (NOT a farm). Buses are near for you to make your way around the Yarra ranges and Melbourne. The area is also a good place for the serious bike rider. Cheerful helpers welcome. I speak Italian, and welcome any Italian travellers. All ethnicities welcome! I will pick up from the station. This farm is deep in the forest of the Yarra Valley, east of Melbourne, in Southern Australia. We run a small organic farm with a CSA and supply to a local farmers market during our season which runs from January to June.
We have been building our mud brick home for the past 3 years and have 3 daughters who attend the local Steiner school.
We are passionately committed to living lightly and sustainably and enjoy a peaceful and beautiful local environment.
We are keen for helpers to enable us to continue to bring our dream into being- and we have much knowledge to share with helpers.
We will welcome helpers in the spring of 2014- keen to hear from those happy to help with landscaping around our new house, and the busy time of preparing soil and planting for the summer growing season.

Hello

We are an easy- going friendly family. I have three sons aged 10, 8 and 5 and one cat.

I run a business from home and am very busy during the day. I am looking for someone who is independent, dependable, honest, easy to communicate with, good with children, responsible and has initiative. I need help with the house cleaning, washing, gardening, basic cooking and grocery shopping, occasional errands, possibly computer related tasks, child minding and taking the kids to sporting commitments and sometimes to the park to kick a ball after school.

I would like to find someone who is able to fit in with our family and can start to anticipate where their help is needed. You will need to be able to communicate and understand English. We can work out a schedule that works for both of us.

We have a lovely non-smoking house in North Fitzroy, near the bike path, public transport, cafes, parks and shopping areas. We are 20 minutes from the city on tram or train. I can provide... more inside

Hi helpers,

I am new to this but I have been having alot of fun and have met alot of people from couch surfing over the last 12 months. Actually I think its really been great to meet all sorts of different people and I feel that I enjoy having guests as much as surfers like having a free couch ;)

I thought id try helpx to see what kind of helpers are around Melbourne, actually I think if I was travelling I would like to be a helper.

Basically if you have saved up some money for traveling and would like to not spend it all on a backpackers acommodation then I get it, you can do a couple of little jobs at your leisure and not have to worry about rent

I don't have a farm but I have lots of ideas and could use some help activating a few projects if your interested.

I have a three bedroom house in Coburg
which is 13km north of the CBD. And I am a 5 minute walk to the last stop of the number 1 tram.

There is lots to do on the north side of the city, and its where a... more inside
